On steam page, under “full controller support” section there is a star that says controller is recommended to play Silksong. This note is NOT present in the Hollow Knight steam page. They don’t seem much different, so why do they added this note?
He ain’t gonna see it 💔💔
Very small tidbit of news but it’s something :)

According to interviews with more than 10 of Sony’s top games executives, designers and studio founders, the company is trying to balance creation and control in a business that is central to the Tokyo-based group’s strategy.
Sony is seeking to ensure that its “first-party studios” — 20 standalone groups that make games exclusively for its PlayStation console — contribute more to overall revenue growth and take measured risks, all without squashing the independence each studio demands to produce hits.
“I don’t want teams to always play it safe, but I would like for us, when we fail, to fail early and cheaply,” said Hermen Hulst, chief executive of the studio business at Sony Interactive Entertainment, which handles the PlayStation brand.
According to Windowscentral
Windows Central has seen documentation suggesting Forza Horizon 6 will be announced at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
We’ve seen official, widely circulated documents strongly suggesting that Forza Horizon 6 is actually planned to be announced during 2025’s Tokyo Game Show, an annual gaming-focused conference kicking off in Japan toward the end of September.
This year’s TGS is set to be the largest in the event’s history, and Xbox has already confirmed it’ll be attending — and announcing. With the Tokyo Game Show focused on the Japanese gaming market, choosing to reveal Forza Horizon 6 here rather than at events like Gamescom only makes sense if the game is, in fact, set in Japan.

Hey all! I’m the solo dev behind Katanaut. I have been waiting years to finally say this….
Katanaut is releasing September 10, 2025.
IGN posted the release date trailer, and Katanaut was also part of the Future Games Show at Gamescom, which was an honor for me as a small team of one.
The premise of Katanaut is that you are aboard a massive space station spiraling into cosmic chaos. The station’s inhabitants are mutating into horrors, and you are trying to fight your way through while uncovering what went wrong. Combat leans into a Souls-like style, with a focus on timing and precision.
The core of the game is built around fast, responsive combat. You get a mix of melee weapons, guns, off-hands, skills, implants, and perks to shape your builds. I have been refining it heavily to make every action feel crisp and satisfying. I think I’m most proud of my blood system where every blood pixel has it’s own simulated physics. …

Steel Ark is an indie project inspired by post-apocalyptic settings, trains, and survival mechanics.
Steel Ark is available on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3915840/Steel_Ark
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZOiQ1sNy4A
The game takes place on a mysterious planet that has suffered a technological disaster. The protagonist discovers an abandoned armored train and turns it into a mobile base.
The train isn’t just a means of transportation - it’s your home, workshop, and fortress. Over time, you’ll expand it with labs, storage units, defensive systems, air filters, and upgraded engines to survive in a hostile environment.
You’ll fight off mutants, bandits, and deadly storms while crafting weapons, armor, and gear. As your base grows, you’ll set up automated production lines, turning your train into a full-scale factory. The gameplay blends survival with automation, in the spirit of games like Factorio.
When the train stops, the game switches to a top-down view - …
It is such a bummer that in many older games you could interact with all kinds of items but nowadays you can barely do anything if it doesn’t have a clear and significant gameplay purpose.
For example in Half Life 2 you can pick up a bunch of items and throw them around or you can destroy several things in older Metal Gear games.
Alternatively there are also Switch games like Tears of The Kingdom that run on incredibly weak and outdated hardware and yet the environment feels alive, most things have their own physics and you can mess around a lot.
Then there are modern games that look very detailed and were designed to run on much more powerful hardware like Resident Evil Village and Alan Wake 2 where you cannot even break freaking windows or lamps with your guns. Unless there is a gameplay reason for it like during the Dimitrescu sisters boss fights.
AW2 is especially weird because you could cause so much destruction in Control even though that’s a last gen game.
And the …

Anyone else remember the game brawl busters? It was a 3rd person multiplayer shooter/brawler from the early 2010s that shut down in 2013. Not to be confused with Brawlstars or Squad Busters. I’ve been having massive nostalgia and thinking about it recently. Played it when I was a kid.

Was sorting through old clothes to donate and I found this. I completely forgot I even went, but seeing it brought back a flood of memories especially since I don’t really play anymore. At least I have proof that I touched grass even though it was for a dota 2 tourney lol
