Lost Soul Aside impressively demonstrates what can emerge from the vision of an ambitious developer, even if outside help eventually became necessary. Unfortunately, the title lags behind the competition in many areas, and although it has borrowed well from the giants of the genre in several aspects, the numerous flaws and the generic use of elements in the story and sound overshadow the otherwise solid foundation

Hello!
I’m here to show you Mr Figs
And here’s the Demo. The demo contains the complete first area but is also a “living demo” in that it receives frequent updates, is suspectible to change, and evolves with feedback :)
Anyway… This is a game I’ve been solo developing for 4 years.
Mr Figs is a challenging top-down action puzzler where you play as Mr Figs - an adorable squid-like humanoid.
Armed with as many bombs as you can carry. Blast, manoeuvre and puzzle your way out of countless levels and areas trying to reach the depths below!
It’s in heavy development at the moment. I’m adding in a whole lot of polish, working on the final area and adding some finishing touches to the game.
This is a game I would’ve drooled over as a child (I’m 34…) and I think it shows. It’s a smorgasboard of all the games I grew up loving. Bomberman, Supermeatboy, The Binding of Isaac and some light puzzling for good …
Happy Indie Sunday! Card Coder is a card-building roguelike. It merges tactical card battles, inventory management and roguelike deck-building with a novel twist: During each run, you create your own custom cards and you’ll rarely see the same card twice (there are over 10 billion possible cards). And yes, this allows for some insane combos and infinites :) You can try the demo right now on Steam:
Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3355940/Card_Coder/
Trailer: On Steam or Youtube
Release plan: Early 2026, PC Win / Proton Linux, full Steam Deck support planned.
If you do check out the demo, I’d be more than happy to get your feedback here or in the game’s Discord: https://discord.com/invite/2ZrdzkNeBP
I’m also very grateful that the demo got covered by a pcgamesn article and streamed by northernlion - this helped iron out a lot of bugs due to the influx of new players and pushed Card Coder past that critical 10,000 Wishlist mark.
Earlier today I read an article over on Eurogamer (https://www.eurogamer.net/pc-modders-optimise-metal-gear-solid-delta-snake-eater-before-konami-does-and-add-hideo-kojima-to-boot) that was shared on reddit today praising modders for “fixing” the optimization of the latest MGS game.
Curious, I downloaded the mod mentioned and was woefully disappointed to find it was a 7KB .pak file….obviously this “mod” was just packing an edited Engine.ini file into a pak file to obsfucate what it was doing.
To give some context Digital Foundry ran some videos earlier this year exposing these “ini mods” as nothing more than snake oil (https://youtu.be/kSQ5T32d3Lo?si=aiy_KuplBfeKBZt5), and now it seems to avoid the stink of what they actually are these bozos are hiding them in UE pak archives to try and fool people into downloading their bs “mods”.
Morbidly curious to see if these people had imoroved on their snake oil mix since I last checked, …
Can’t you at least stop letting people call themselves Fuhrer, Hitler, Nazi etc etc? How fucking hard is that Valve?
Whitemon is 1 of the best pos 5 in the scene now, and this is Tundra’s third year in a row to compete in TI with a stand in.
Hi everyone, I’m sayang. I just published a new interview with Yamsun. We spoke about a lot of things:
It’s one of the most personal conversations I’ve ever had. Yamsun was incredibly open and honest — not just about Dota, but about vulnerability, doubt, and what it takes to stay kind in a world that often isn’t.
A huge thank-you to him for also sharing his personal photos from Japan, which you’ll see throughout the interview.
Honestly, I loved every minute of speaking with him. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

Making the bans have to be before game is found seems to have worked well. I can now spam whatever non meta hero I like without any issues.
I started playing ranked on January 10th. It was a long and difficult journey. I wanted to reach Immortal within 1,000 games, but I didn’t have the talent to do so. I got there after 1,055 games.
Out of 1,055 games, I played Marci in 559 of them, and among those, 451 were Pos2
Marci best girl 🙂
not even the queen of pain herself moans as loud when taking damage its so off putting
Goo goo ga ga. Pthhhhhhhp. Ha ha ha. De. De deaddd. cough cough nuh. Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Duh. Durh. Dowwww. sneeze Dowmah. Ha ha ha. Dewok.
I’m not gonna lie I sometimes catch myself just sitting on the menu listening to the new music because is it pretty damn good. The sound team deserves a raise.
I am objectively the worst player on my team, even in winning matches. Why won’t Valve drop me into the absolute garbage ranks so I can have a mediocre experience? I mean, I’m almost there already, but i can always go deeper into the pits.
Sincerely,
Your 0/15/1 {insert character name here}
Crazy how popular the Billy voters were, and that the closest contest was Doorman vs Paige.
