After spending about 20 hours playing Kingdom Come 2: Deliverance, I feel pretty good about saying:

This game is a masterpiece.

I don’t have the time (or the patience) to play these huge RPGs anymore but I had seen the extensive ads for this game, and one weekend I decided to buy it on a whim as my wife and I were having a weekend at home and didn’t feel like watching TV.

We played through the first part of the game, which was extensive talking and cut scenes, until you’re finally dumped out into the open world, and we left it there and turned it off. It was fine, nothing that blew our heads off… but then curiously the next day we found ourselves both thinking about the game. We wanted to go back in.

And so now each weekend we get a session or two in where Henry continues his little adventure. I’m very impressed with how immersive they’ve made it; as annoying as I find the crafting, I can’t deny that it enriches the experience. You spend …

Pretty much explains why people are saying they can’t get out of initiate 1. This happened in CSGO a lot, but what happens is people end up accidentally smurfing by being in a rank way below where they belong and it can end up as a coin flip on which team has the better smurf.

I’m also seeing a lot of games not count due to leavers or maybe just bad luck, but for the smurfs what can happen is they destroy people too early then they leave and now you lost an opportunity to gain mmr even though it should have been a win.

If it’s like CSGO you can still climb out, it’s just a massive grind and probably not worth worrying about

Deadlock Updates

During this time since the last wiki update, Valve dropped big game updates, new heroes, and kept us on our toes to handle everything that has been changed or added. It’s been a bunch of work from some very impressive and dedicated editors!

• The May Items Rework changed every item in the game, added new art, and did a big art pass on the game. Almost all the images needed to be updated and all the data needed to be scraped from the game. But it’s all done now!

• The “6 heroes” update set added 6 heroes over two weeks, added the Hideout, and changed other parts of how the game works. Again, plenty of new information, all added to the wiki within minutes of being added to the game. Thanks team!
