I really wanted to love Hotel Barcelona. It has such an interesting presentation and game world. But its gameplay is just plain awful. It has a generic roguelite structure, and controlling Justine feels abysmal. The UI is also an overcluttered eyesore. I hope fans of SWERY and SUDA51 find something to love in Hotel Barcelona. But as it is, I just can’t recommend a game that plays this horribly.

Hey folks,
Just crossed the 20,000 hour mark in Dota 2, and it hit me that my journey with this game started way back 18 years ago with the original Dota on Warcraft 3.

From sneaking into internet cafés after college, downloading custom maps, arguing about who gets mid, and trying to remember what every hero did to the massive, polished, ever-changing world of Dota 2 we have now… it’s been absolutely surreal.

This game has given me some of my best memories, worst tilts, closest friends, and hardest lessons. 20,000 hours sounds insane when I think about it, but honestly, every moment has been worth it.

Dota has evolved so much, but the magic is still the same. What a journey and it’s not over yet. Here’s to another decade of GLHF.

I just started playing yesterday, its my first time playing a MOBA (although I know the basics from watching streamers) but im masters rank in overwatch so I have FPS skills. I thought my fps skills would compensate but god I was wrong lol.

I loaded into my first game and several people were shouting at me in vc to “lane swap” and I had no idea what to do. I told them it was my first time playing and they were incredulous and raging about having a beginner in their game. One of my teammates then proceeded to flame me the entire game for every single one of my plays (i was happy for the coaching lol). I just focused on living and following around my lane partner like a dog and we somehow won lol, but I was hard carried

My next game was even worse, I’m assuming winning messed up my mmr. Even after telling them I was new half of my team were insulting (slurring) me in vc, one person said “go play bot lobbies you will feel at home there”. We got stomped and …

Prof. Dynamo has a line where he refers to himself as Pocket’s Godfather. This implies that he had / has a close relationship with Maximillian Fairfax or Pocket’s mother.

Why was he close to a guy running a company supplying weapons to the military industrial complex?? Was he donating his scientific mind to Fairfax industries???

Dynamo gives off the vibe of a sweet and loving teddy bear but the company he keeps speaks volumes. Cancel him!!!!!

There’s some things I would def change if given another hour, but this was great practice! I can see the improvement already lol.
