I’m the developer of AETHUS, a chill sci-fi, physics-driven survival/base-building game, which I’m making pretty much on my own after leaving AAA after ~7 years, at studios like Rockstar North.
I wanted to make a survival game that wasn’t about combat, but about chill take-at-your-own-pace exploration, and a really compelling narrative to drive you forward.
📽 The latest trailer as featured by IGN, shows off many of the core gameplay features you’ll enjoy in-game, which include…
☑ Key Features:
In this unusual horror game, you are the Chosen One. Selected to serve the Holy Hole. Clean. Make offerings. Perform rituals. Everything feels strange, but still somewhat understandable - until the world around you starts to change.

Sorry for the quality, he did it himself without much experience
At first, it looks like a typical horror simulator. But slowly, things take a different turn: reality begins to distort, events spiral out of control, and what once seemed simple turns out to be part of something much darker.
The choice is yours - obey and never learn the truth, or try to uncover what’s really going on. Every decision affects the ending.
The game is inspired by classic PS1-era horror - short, atmospheric, and it sticks with you long after you finish it. At its core are themes of faith, religion, and the Second Coming - but not the kind you’d expect.
The playtest is already available. Give it a try and share your …
Hey r/Games! I am Jungsoo Lee from Ocean Drive Studio!!
Three years ago, we released Lost Eidolons, a tactical RPG inspired by Fire Emblem: Three Houses. After launch, we took everything we learned (and all the feedback we received!) and started building a new standalone spin-off — Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch.
This new game takes the tactical combat system from the original and evolves it further. We added a roguelite progression system to make each run faster, more replayable, and more rewarding, while still focusing on deep, grid-based tactical combat.
You’ll form a team of five from nine unique characters, each with their own abilities and growth paths. Every expedition runs through three main acts — plus a hidden final act if you meet certain conditions — bringing new challenges, skill combinations, and character development with each run.
We’ve been working on this project for the past three years, launched in Early Access on Steam last November, and now we’re finally …
Hey everyone – we’re Hibernian Workshop, the studio behind Dark Devotion and Astral Ascent. For a while now, we’ve been building something special with the help of our community that supported us on Kickstarter: a pixel-art action RPG called Fallen Fates.
Fallen Fates started as a prototype in 2024 and, as of this year, quickly grew into our most ambitious undertaking. Our journey goes back to when our self-taught founders, Louis Denizet and Alexandre Magnat, met online over a shared love of pixel art and decided to start building games together. The first product of this was Dark Devotion, a pixel art metroidvania released in 2019, followed by Astral Ascent, an action roguelike released in 2023. Now, we’re in the process of developing our newest title, Fallen Fates, an action RPG with our same, unique 2D pixel art style.
What’s Fallen Fates about?
Set in the realm of Tellus, the game follows Arven, a ranger whose village was destroyed by falling crystals, and Kat, a mysterious …

I just launched a Kickstarter for my indie JRPG, Evil Origin.
Evil Origin is influenced by genre classics like Koudelka, Shadow Hearts, Resident Evil and Castlevania. I wanted to create a JRPG that evoked the feeling of dark fantasy and gothic horror, which is something I felt was missing these days as franchises like Shadow Hearts remain long dormant.
There’s a free demo of Evil Origin you can check out now. And of course you can wishlist the full game here.
Use this thread to discuss whatever you’ve been playing lately (old or new, AAA or indie). Don’t just list the names of games as your entire post, make sure to elaborate with your thoughts on the games.
Make sure to use spoiler tags if you’re posting anything about a game’s plot that might significantly hurt the experience of others that haven’t played the game yet (no matter how old or new the game is).

Not sure if this is the right place for this (but I don’t think it goes against the rules?), I went through my dads old stuff and found a lot of old pc game box sets, mostly windows 95 and up. A lot of them are still sealed and/or in good condition. Is there people out there that would buy them? I looked on eBay, people are selling them for crazy but I don’t know if that’s even logical.. thanks in advance to whoever responds
While waiting for the rain to stop in the outskirts of Davao City, I saw this random nanay avidly watching DOTA 2. Im not even a fan but impressed with her knowledge, with side comments pa.
With Halloween just around the corner, we wanted to try out something slightly riskier and turn this bad boi into a pumpkin. Hope you guys like it, and here’s the workshop link for those who wanna check it out: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3581353832
I know the colors are a bit off and it looks funny but its still cool Inspired by Brickheadz.
So guys I played morphling yesterday and each fight i morphed ogre ( pos 3 ) but whenever i morph to ogre my mana went down like 1.4k to 100. I didn’t realize what happened after checking the replay i see that whenever I morph my mana turn into 1.4k to 400 and using two ogre skills it’s going to 100 mana. So I realize because ogre gets his int from str and i had almost full agi / less str i got really low mana. I just want to remind that I realize it with a loss 😅
We were basically done with the game, all of my team except the dusa was dead! And just in time I was able to bb (batrider) and give one of the best timed lotus orb save in the game. We won the game after that and it mentally destroyed the juggs will to fight. Everyone had fun!

All done in Blender 4.5, inclusive of the shitty pseudo mirror reflection. This is my way of protesting against the mod’s removal of the marci pic. LET THE PEOPLE GOON
The general sentiment in PvP games like Deadlock when one player expresses frustration from losing is “git gud.” The most vocal players would have you believe getting better and ranking up is the ONLY point of a competitive PvP game.
I am here to suggest that bad players do not have to learn. Bad players are allowed to stay bad. These bad players still deserve fair and balanced games against other bad players.
Bad players are allowed to play 1 match a week and not really learn anything. They still deserve for this one match to be fun. Bad players deserve to win 40-50% of thier matches by merit of playing exclusively other bad players. They deserve to have the large majority of these wins or losses be somewhat close, where either team has a realistic chance of winning.
Obviously this is hard to pull off, but it should be the end goal of the matchmaker, specifically for bad players. Deadlock is a very well made game and everyone should be allowed to enjoy it, even if you …

She’s a lot of fun to draw. I’ll probably add a version with the gun. The “bye” hand gesture was hard 🥲.
