There was a time when I could hardly ever afford games at launch, let alone be able to pre-order, and it always sucked watching everyone jump into a new game that I desperately wanted to play but didn’t have the cash for.
In that spirit, I want to gift 2 copies of the the game to anyone on here who is pumped for Arc raiders but for whatever reason can’t afford it right now.
No strings, no expectation to play together (my play will be erratic as hell thanks to my deranged work schedule). All you have to do is reply to this thread with the thing you are most excited for about the game and on Wednesday afternoon I’ll pick two people and DM them to become Steam friends so I can gift them the game.
Simple as that. Have at it.
Edit2: Your odds just went up!
Due to the overwhelming response, I’m now going to give away 3 copies! Better still, the very generous u/mkedubs has offered a further 2, and the equally awesome u/shdowcraft has offered to make it up to 6 …
I realize as I get older, gaming time is becoming less available. The only time I really play anything anymore is with friends, mostly to catch up and bs on discord. We all played the server slam event and it was a blast. So much so I bought an everyone a copy of the game so no one has any excuse for us all not to play together.
Added the Baron following the latest lauch trailer appearance.
For comparison the biggest enemy we have fought has been the Queen.
Today the release trailer shows us what seems to be the Baron.
What we have seen in earlier footage is speculated to be known as the King.
And finally, also seen in game just not within our reach we have the Emperor.
Worth noting that although we have not been able to interact with it, in certain maps players have been able to ping the Emperor.
Discuss away Raiders,
CPT out.

Hello everyone,
I’ve decided to share with you something very important related to weapons — something I don’t think has been talked about enough. I was genuinely shocked when I discovered this, in the best possible way. Everything I’m sharing here is based on the Server Slam, and whether the system will change or not remains to be seen.
*Legendary weapons are not broken in PvP.
Just because someone plays more than you, camps, gets lucky, has friends, or knows some tips and tricks, doesn’t mean that once they unlock the two (I hope I’m not mistaken) legendary weapons, they’ll have a huge advantage in PvP. Because — surprise! — from what I’ve seen on YouTube, none of the legendary weapons are broken or overpowered in PvP.
They’re absolutely amazing in PvE, but in PvP they remain fair. They can’t be upgraded, modded, or used for insta-kills.
*Regular weapons, regardless of their tier, can only be modded and upgraded, but their base damage cannot be improved.
In other words, just …
