As a collection of games, Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection isn’t all that impressive, with many of the titles here either being downright bad or relatively redundant. As an interactive documentary, however, …
“I do find that technology makes it harder and harder for me when I get new libraries that are very complex. They have beautiful sounds, but it takes me a lot longer to become facile with them. And it kind of makes me… because in the old days with Heroes I, I could do a song within one or two days. Now, because there’s so much technology and it gives me so much potential, it could take a month to do one song just because I can add so much more to it. So, I don’t know that more is necessarily better, but it just means more, you know, that’s what it’s like.
“You guys work in this space, but now one day I give you a space that’s a hundred times the size of the space, and now you have to get 100 times more furniture, more technology. Does it make your work better? That could make it better, but also sometimes you feel like, well, I’m happy just where I was. I like, I like using what I have right now. Have to go to work… Accursed capitalism.
Started this game on squad fill. Both teammates died, but I somehow survived and extracted with this loot. I’ve never been this shaken in my life!
normally everything in your inventory will wipe, but if you drop everything you can get free burletta + ducky!
For any who were curious how it would be on release. For US eastern, it’s currently 7:38am as I type this. I got up around 5:40 to hop on as soon as game went live. It’s lit!
Have been playing solo pretty much all morning - have died 2 or 3 times, but otherwise have been extracting with up to three random people in the elevator each time.
Shoutout to all the legends willing to chat before blasting
EDIT: New record is 7 solo raiders working together - this is great.

Every game with friends, i felt like i was in another extraction shooter, mindless killing etc.
Every solo game is an adventure, a story, movie written by improvisation, an experience, fear of enemy, tension between me and my “friend”, mystery of random players.
There is a huge difference between teams and solo, as if it were a different game, and i love it.
