Thirty years is a long time people. I want to thank contributor “whowasphone404” for their motivation in putting this project together and I wanted to share it around so people can see all the work they did.
These are some incredible people I’m proud to stand beside.
Hello everyone, I’m tricko, the game developer behind this silly little game.
It’s a platform fighter and it’s basically a chaotic, love-letter-to-brawlers sandbox where the only rule is: yeet or be yeeten.
Just released it in Early Access and hope you’ll check it out!
Hey everyone! After months of work, the demo for my grimdark RPG Woe Reigns Unending is finally live on Steam. It’s a low-fantasy, turn-based RPG set in the ruins of a dying world.
If you like bleak stories, tactical combat, and atmosphere-heavy worlds, I’d love for you to check it out.
Don’t you dare tell me this is okay or that Embark needs to use these prices to keep the game alive.
EDIT: Typo in the title but you get the point.
Hey Raiders!
I made a one-page visual cheat-sheet to help remember which scraps to keep for quests/upgrades and which you can safely recycle at a glance.
It’s based on a list by u/Xi4 and his post from a few days ago: List of recycable items you need to KEEP for QUESTS
I will try and keep it up to date if quests change or someone finds mistakes.
Updates:
There are reasons why they made and did things the way they did, you guys just don’t like them.
The stash is limited for a reason.
You don’t get many safe slots for a reason.
There is PVP for a reason.
Quit trying to change the game to how you want it. The game is Amazing because of all the elements being set the way they are.
When this happened I thought some troll just left a bomb trap or something to kill whoever spawned after them but nope… it’s a spawn camper… Guy’s name had something about “Rat” in it so makes sense ig. Very nice 👍
So just for the record, I normally never play like this. I try to be friendly in every encounter I have. This community has been fantastic so far and I’ve run into maybe 5 bad people in the 50+ I’ve run into. This was just a fun little experiment. I did not expect the guy to actually freeze when i held him up with a kettle lmao
Anyway, I robbed this guy, but he won in the end. Enjoy.
I feel as if they are a bit overpowered. I unlocked them yesterday and just doing free loadout runs today this is what my inventory looks like and I’ve been selling all the blue weapons I get just because I don’t have space. You can easily hit 2-5 breaches in one run, extracting with at least 2-3 purple weapons that are already leveled up at least to level 2 most of the time. Not to mention you can also get blue prints and usually a couple wolf pack grenades. This really takes away from the value of gear, there is zero gear fear for me now removing a lot of the tension or the “oh shit” factor of dying.
What are your thoughts?
Edit: After reading a lot of the discussion here and more reasonable takes. I do think they are probably fine in their current state. One change that I think is the best suggestion is making them dynamic spawns instead of static, except for the ones that are locked behind keys. That way you would have to look for them instead of just …
