Hey!
Yesterday I made a thread about a piece of astroturfing going on for a small game. After doing some more digging I found proof of the same company doing this kind of work for a bunch of other games including
Split Fiction
World of Warships
War Thunder
Mandragora
Misery
Active Matter
Gloomy Eyes
Bee Simulator
Tabletop Game Shop Simulator
The company has an entire page advertising this work with examples (link is archived) and one of the people there has made posts on Linkedin showing off some work they did to astroturf reddit. None of the reddit accounts they use are marked as sponsored or give any hint they have anything to do with the games they’re advertising.
Again this probably isn’t the only company doing this, but it is a good look at how they operate. These kind of accounts are pretty hard to catch (unless they literally just post about doing it like in these examples) and they know that, writing that
We build them up with genuine posts, we test …
From Steam: Tyr is a tank shooter where strategy beats twitch reflexes. Pilot heavy-armored vehicles with unique capabilities and upgrade them as you battle for victory with your team.
Hi All,
Foolishly bought two keys by accident for RDR2 PC (code for Rockstar Launcher , not steam). No refunds from the seller, so one of you lucky people can have the spare key (Global use).
Never played the game before? Fancy trying it out on a new rig? Post below and in 2 hours time (13:15 GMT) I’ll pick a random user and DM them the code.
(Hope this is allowed mods)
EDIT: WINNER CHOSEN, TRIED TO BE AS RANDOMLY SELECTED AS POSSIBLE. WHEN I POSTED TIMES UP THERE WAS 173 RESPONSES. SO I RANDOMLY NUMBER SELECTED 1-173 AND THE CHOSEN NUMBER WAS 115. SCROLLED TO THE 115th RESPONSE.

Ive searched hundreds of crates, cars, busses and power generators. Every single raid on Dam I go to the scrapyard or checkpoints on blue gate and search everything. I search every single industrial area I come across. I know every “trick” in the book for where to find these.
Im finding rusted tools at an 8⁄1 ratio and find more blueprints than I do gears. Hell, I’ve found more epic weapons than I have these things. This is the worst bottleneck I’ve ran into in any extraction shooter I’ve ever played.
Im stuck at 2⁄3 and I deconstructed or sold a couple of these when I was sub lvl 15 before I knew they were necessary. Feels bad man.
You came to the Dam Control Tower last night after seeing like 8 raider flares.
You told us you were spreading peace across the map…
You befriended me and another solo to protect you. Offered to take us to one of the locked rooms but wanted backup. We followed of course, you fluting the whole way there.
I should’ve known when you opened the door to a small closet that it wasn’t right. The other guy had the right amount of suspicion, said something feels off. I hope you got the clip, because the 12 shock mines and explosives you rigged up took you with me you woodwind friendliness tarnishing son of a bitch.
If you’re the third solo that survived, I wish you the absolute best you cautious legend.
For real though, that was the hardest I’ve laughed since I installed this game, thank you for making a truly unique experience. If you have the clip I’d love to see it.

I gotta stop trusting people in this game
I just passed the 70-hour mark, and while I was on my way to a quest, I came to the realization that they are… useless. They barely unlock anything, just 3 blueprints and a bit of skin customization in total.
Otherwise, it’s like: “*Thanks for restoring the power! Here, take these 5 red flares!*” Yeah, thanks, they’ll fit perfectly in my project with their 1,200 value.
It’s nice to see the “story” move forward a little, but it’s nothing you’d want to do a second time after a wipe.
Quests just don’t feel rewarding at all. And this is where Tarkov actually wins — there’s a real sense of progression. You risk your life to finish a single quest, you gain trader reputation, unlock new gear, upgrade your loadout, all that good stuff.
Otherwise, the game is great. But it’s slightly disappointing that I can ignore every single quest and just reach level 20 to unlock everything, buy the Hullcracker, finish my project, and upgrade every crafting station to the max level.
Feels like …
My first extraction shooter was Escape From Tarkov. After almost 4000 hours you learn to trust absolutely no one in that game. You shoot on sight. Take zero chances. If you approached me and acted friendly, you got dropped. Each and every raid on that game is just too critical to risk to chance. I think most who’ve played EFT will understand.
Enter ARC RAIDERS. If I see someone getting swarmed by ARC, I run to their aid. I regularly ask people what they’re looking for and if I have the item, I’ll drop it. I’ll team up with other solos and run the entire map with them. It is SUCH a breath of fresh air after the desolate hellscape that is Tarkov.
ARC RAIDERS is some of the most FUN I’ve had in a game in a very, very long time. Fighting for my life and on the brink of death only to have another player show up and fight alongside me gives me all the feels, man. And I know some of you will disagree but having those rats who hide in bushes or extract camp …
Hello Raiders!
For context, I have about 100 hours in Arc Raiders at this point and have maxed all benches, maxed Scrappy, finished my expedition project, and finished all quests. Here are some tips on finding some of these items that most of you are most likely having a hard time finding. Be sure to pay close attention to the directions I’m giving you guys some of these are harder to find than others! :)

Rusted Gears:
Quite honestly, these can be the hardest of the bunch to find. However, I personally had the most success finding these in the underground section of the Primary Facility which can be entered through loading dock or through the catwalks in the Floodgates. Essentially this area is still considered the loading dock. In this underground area there’s loot boxes that are shaped like cubes that you can breach that I have gotten rusted gears from. The most common …
