Escape from Tarkov devs flipping the Middle Finger to Ukrainians they posted in ingame graphics. It was posted during the invasion in 2022. The picture is unlabeled but the yellow armband which the Ukraine forces use, the helmet and the camo as well as the timely event does suggest a suspicion about the devs intention but having deniabilites for “hardcore” fans.
Additional source: Escape from Tarkov’s developers showed the middle finger to the stylized soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - AIN (2022) during the hot phase of the invasion of Ukraine.
Edit: Here is a link to a short video explaining some of the links between Escape from Tarkov devs and the war effort in Ukraine and the devs stance on the invasion and on Ukrainians. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSO5gGg6Cn8 Thanks to /u/TheSpaceDuck for this video
After seeing some videos from the BO7 Campaign it took me a while but i had the feeling something is off. A crazy out there story is one of thing. Black ops was always a bit wacky and esoteric.
So crazy writing is one thing but this uncoherent and chaotic mess of Plot and Asset using kinda reminded of something and it took me a while where i had seen similar. I think you can all remember the recent “Look how awesome AI gaming in the Future will be” post on social media recently.
Yeah i have exactly the same thoughts seeing the BO7 campaign. Jumping around from setting to setting without any clear coherent idea. It feels like the gave a LLM some prompts and said use those themes and ideas and use these assets for it.
We want to introduce Carbon, a brutal sci-fi cyberpunk action RPG created by a small indie team of game industry veterans at Hardwired Studio.
Carbon aims to deliver fast combat, deep character builds, augment-driven abilities (both tech and bio), and a world shaped by neon decay and heavy atmosphere.
Players can try the free demo on Steam right now:

Tonight I killed a bombardier by myself, some dude walks up while I’m looting it and says “Don’t shoot!” and then he started looting it. In my head I’m thinking “Bro are you for real.” I asked him 3 times over mic what he was taking, no response. So naturally I mow him down, and found he took 3 cores and a bunch of other shit lol. I couldn’t believe the audacity. So yeah, don’t be that guy, or at least ask over mic first jfc
Edit: Yes yes I understand that he could have just walked up and shot me down instead, I posted this because it was kinda comically absurd and funny
Edit 2: Fucking hell, so many of you take this post so much more seriously than I intended. Touch grass
Just gave bro a free exit ‘cuz i couldn’t crawl up to the hole for no reason 😭
This is my scratch-built diorama featuring a 3D printed probe and custom raider figures. Now that it’s done I can actually play the game…
PvP? PvE? I’m playing a shop sim. Thank you to all my lovely customers 🙏🏻
Next time I’ll bring more goodies
So, I’ve been grinding Arc Raiders and honestly, I was super f*cking pissed off by the PvP.
I mean, the campers, the rats, the toxic behavior… I was just done.
But holy guacamoly, I had my “click” moment.
I finally understand why the PvP in this PvPvE is so damn important.
Yesterday, I randomly ran into a dude on Stella Montis.
We didn’t shoot each other.. we talked and teamed up.
And man, I had some insanely awesome moments with him.
We were looting, and I’d have his back while he was busy.
Then we’d switch.
We’d be fighting Arcs, and then suddenly, players would show up from out of nowhere.
Yeah, sure, sometimes we got absolutely wrecked.
We got our asses handed to us, hard.
But then… there were the other rounds.
The rounds where we felt like we were mowing down entire HORDES of PvP players.
We often went in with just the free loadout and had these amazing “From Zero to Hero” runs.
** I realized:**
Just …
