Yes the game is a homage/love letter to classic marble games. The main ones I am inspired by are Marble Madness, Gyroscope, Hamsterball and Ballance. I am sure it might bring back memories of different ones for other people.
I am a solo hobby dev from Australia trying to make classic marble games great again. If you want to join the journey you can find out more here https://store.steampowered.com/app/4137920/Marbles_Marbles/

Hi r/Games! I’m the solo dev behind Fortune Avenue, a modern 3D take on classic Monopoly-style board games that keeps things fresh with dynamic surprises and player-driven changes. We just released v0.47.0 on December 10, bringing DirectX 12 rendering for smoother Windows performance, Swedish and Japanese language support, new Steam achievements, an upgrade to Godot 4.5.1, enhanced controller compatibility, offline pause functionality, refined sound effects, and a bunch of bug fixes to polish the experience. To celebrate, it’s now 40% off on Steam until December 17, jump in and see the improvements firsthand.
In Fortune Avenue, navigate a vibrant board where traditional elements get reimagined: melting ice floes instead of jail, airports for quick jumps, and World Cup events that can 10x hotel rents. Every 12 dice rolls, everyone votes on new rules, like bringing back 5-star hotels or handing out $200K bonuses, from over 30 options, ensuring no two games feel the same. To …
Hi everyone,
I’d like to introduce my new game Penguin Snow Rider. This is a 2D Cartoon Top-Down Endless Runner where you control a penguin sliding down a mountain and you have to avoid obstacles to progress in the game. Enjoy the holiday season by playing this game in browser on Itch.io! Note this is only a demo, the full version is still being developed. I’d appreciate any feedback on the game.

a multiplayer (vs bots or humans) klondike like card game with up to 4 players where you leverage your opponents mistakes to earn more advantages

Hello everybody ! Crapette is a traditional (I believe from France) cosy card game with Klondike like rules and some twists. For example cards can be misplayed and this misplay can be taken advantage of by your opponents. You can improve your odds by making better decisions or exploiting your opponents errors. It’s a passion project, this is not my profession but I try to improve it as best as I can and make it as fun as possible on my spare time !
It’s one of my favorite card games that I play daily (hit me up if you wanna play)
Latest stuff :
I spent countless nights in The Long Dark, listening to wolves in the distance and hoping the wind wouldn’t shift and snuff out my tiny fire.
I also spent just as much time in Valheim, preparing expeditions with friends and building shelters in beautiful, unique places the procedural world offered us.
And I always wondered: what if those two worlds collided?
So I spent the last 4 years developing Whisper of the Swallows.
It’s a ruthless procedural world where the weather isn’t just a backdrop, but your main enemy. If you don’t respect the blizzard, you die.
But unlike TLD, you don’t have to die alone.
You can play solo or 8-player co-op to build complex shelters, hunt together, and actually transform the world.
The goal isn’t just to survive until morning; it’s to perform rituals that cleanse the regions, permanently pushing back the darkness.
I just released a free demo on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2496090

Hi! This is Julian from DigiTales Interactive.
We’re a three-person studio from Germany, and we’ve been shouting from the rooftops all week about our newly revealed game From Ruins – without the help of a publisher for the first time. If “post-apocalyptic narrative detective adventure” sounds like your jam, check out our store page.
I’m happy to share insights or answer any questions in the comments!

PS: Thanks to the mods for approving me so quickly.
Hi everyone! I just opened a playtest for my game: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1449590/Leonardos_Island
You can build your sailing ships and test them in online regattas and battles. Also you have mode “Sailing around” the shipyard and fight bots. Every trip to sea brings rewards, so you can unlock more items to build your ship and improve already unlocked ones. In the playtest there are: 3 available hulls, 6 sails, 3 cannons and 2 ammunition types.
Also there is an option to invite your steam friends, so you can create regattas or battles just for you with your friends.

Use this thread to discuss whatever you’ve been playing lately (old or new, AAA or indie). Don’t just list the names of games as your entire post, make sure to elaborate with your thoughts on the games.
Make sure to use spoiler tags if you’re posting anything about a game’s plot that might significantly hurt the experience of others that haven’t played the game yet (no matter how old or new the game is).

Thanks to whoever the guy was that used 5 wolfpacks and all his ammo
I was so hyped when I found the blueprint.
PSA: Weirdly enough it makes more sense to recycle your old vita spray and craft a new one instead of repairing it.
It costs 3 Antiseptics to craft a new one, and you even get 1 back when recycling the old one vs needing 4 antiseptic to fully repair a Vita spray.
Found a team heading to a raider hatch my team was heading to and we opened fire – they kept screaming friendly and that they had no ammo. Each one of them had something ridiculous. the raid was about 11 minutes in or something along those lines so I’m not sure how they got all this stuff.. a few other items were from other raiders we killed prior to heading there. insane.
(I am doing this of my own will and nobody is forcing or even encouraging me)
The state of these players, only 5 minutes into the match and he has built himself a nice little nest!
I’m sorry but this game’s economy is ridiculous.
EDIT: Just want to make clear that my point is that a queen core sells for 13k yet 13k gets you the equivalent of 5 herbal bandages which is BS imo.
I would craft them but most games I’m going to prioritise better or more valuable loot over great mullein & durable cloth. Maybe if Embark changed it so it crafts 2 or 3 herb bandages instead of 1 that would solve that issue.
