Hey r/Games, it’s been 6 months since the full launch of our squad tactics heist RPG! We’ve gotten over 2,000 total Steam reviews and become the highest-rated tactical RPG released this year, which feels awesome. It’s still incredibly tough for an indie of our size to get any mainstream attention, but we’ve been grinding away for the genre super-fans, adding more than 50 updates of additional free content since we launched.
Right now we’re on our deepest discount since full launch, the deepest we’re planning to go for a while.
Cyber Knights: Flashpoint puts you in the role of an underworld mercenary running a crew for hire in the dark future of 2231. Megacorporations, nanotech and quantum computing have radically altered the world… and your character is one of the few equipped (quite literally, with illegal cyberware) to handle it.
It’s an in-depth tactical RPG with …
The game is “Sorry We’re Closed” it recently won “Best Debut Indie Game” at the Indie Game Awards and is available for free for 24 hours
We’re the two developers behind Dead Weight. Making this game hasn’t been easy: we self-funded everything, faced a long development cycle, and had moments when we doubted ourselves. But we didn’t give up. Over time, we found our audience and support, our small team grew, and that keeps us moving forward.

Choose your ship, gather a loyal crew, and set off to explore dangerous, mystery-filled islands. The world is constantly changing, and you’ll need to adapt as the challenge grows. Dead Weight offers a gripping story and high-quality pixel art in a skybound world ruled by gods.
If you’d like to support us, we’d really appreciate your feedback or adding the game to your wishlist.

We wanted to create a truly diverse adventure where gameplay never settles into a single pattern. One moment, you’re navigating a yacht through harsh northern waters - not with simple “W, A, S, D” controls, but with real navigation that accounts for wind and inertia. The next, you’re racing across an icy wasteland on a dog sled. Then you’re solving puzzles that are deeply woven into the environment and the story, rather than standing apart from it.
19 Minutes of Will: Follow the Light Gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uc4qJ_Z4qJI
The story begins with a simple but devastating event. The main character, a lighthouse keeper, receives a message from the mainland: his son has gone missing after a disaster. Without hesitation, he sets out on a journey - one that leads not only across cold seas and snow-covered northern landscapes.
Left alone with his thoughts, the hero drifts into his own memories. Flashbacks revisit a complicated relationship with his father, thoughts of his …
I’m the solo-indie developer of AETHUS, a chill sci-fi, physics-driven survival/base-building game, which I’m making pretty much on my own after leaving AAA after ~7 years, at studios like Rockstar North.
I wanted to make a survival game that wasn’t focused on combat, but on chill take-at-your-own-pace exploration always driven forward by a compelling, fully-voiced narrative.

Hi gamers! I’ve been developing CD-ROM lately. It is a puzzle game where you control a retro PC with peripherals to find secrets hiding inside decades old CDs!
Game Description :
CD-ROM is a game features series of puzzles located inside 10 different themed CDs. Players progress by deciphering coded texts, analyzing images, finding hints from mini-games and many more! Each clue leads players to 8 digit password they require to unlock next CD. 10 CDs, 10 passwords.
CD-ROM is a game highly related with cryptography and steganography. Many messages are hid inside various data for players to explore. Use programs inside your CDs to overcome these challenges!
If you liked this game, please wishlist and follow! Don’t forget to try the demo!
Hello everyone,
I tried posting this in a different subreddit, but I didn’t meet the Karma requirements, so you guys are getting it instead.
I won an extra copy of GOW Ragnarok (steam key) from a giveaway, so I figured I may as well pay it forward as I’ve already completed it.

I’ve been watching a lot of videos by Chris Zukowski (Steam marketing guru), and one thing he’s pretty clear on is that your game needs to have a clear genre, because trying to mix two genres tends to alienate fans of each; an individual player likes particular genres and expects games in that genre to follow the mold.
Does anyone have examples of successful games that really do mix two different genres?
Excited to announce release v0.2.0 for CtrlAssist, adding rumble pass-through support and significant improvements to controller multiplexing! CtrlAssist is an open source project to bring more accessible, collaborative gaming to Linux! Inspired by PC gaming sessions with my own family, where both young and old relish exploring rich stories with immersive worlds (like Witcher 3, RDR3, Hogwarts Legacy, etc) but find coordinated combat or movement control too challenging to play solo, CtrlAssist lets you combine multiple controllers into one virtual gamepad, much like assist features on dedicated game consoles.
Whether your helping grandparents through tough boss fights, co-oping with nieces and nephews over single player games, leveling skill gaps across LAN parties, or dual welding multiple controllers for custom ergonomic setups, CtrlAssist aims to make PC gaming on Linux fun and accessible for everyone.

I was one of those gamers that upgraded my PC when a game called for it. New gpu every other year, new mobo and cpu when the time came.
I fell off the wagon some years back as life got busy.
I recently got back into pc gaming and am longing for the days of, not enough fps? Eh just turn down the overall settings. Or drop the shadows a bit.
Now every game has Frame Gen shoved in, up scaling, mystic voodoo AI deciphering that no one really understands.
I’m playing expedition 33 to trigger these thoughts, so maybe not the perfect example?
Long story short it’s this fine balancing act now.
I feel that games are demanding more and more but really not giving more? Don’t get me wrong. Good looking game but I can’t help but feel all the extra demands don’t really get us that much more.
Rose tinted glasses for sure but my brain goes “bio shock infinite have similar vibes”.
Do we enjoy Frame Gen? DLSS smearing? So far every game I cross I immediately turn all of it off. Which makes me …
Counter Strike has got to have the worst gunplay out of any shooter I’ve ever played. I love having my entire crosshair on an enemy only for one shot to hit them. The only guns that feel good to use are pistols and shotguns.
The premise of defusing bombs and saving hostages is pretty fun along the slower gameplay, but man are the guns doo-doo.
i made this fanart because i see someone wearing this skin always has a bad luck, sometimes they got clap by wasp/hornet and die before looting or trying to crawl in, but this one i found him K.O by Frostbite from a far !
Before you guys hit me with the “u dont have to do it” yes, we know.
I wasnt quite sure what the whole expedition thing was about so I thought id give it a go without knowing the 5mill PENALTY for already doing the expedition.
Its Christmas season and ive had to graft a good 4.5mill to get all 5 bonus points and I figured once I was already at the expedition I might aswell go for it.
I have a full time job, no kids and dont live with my mrs so I cant imagine how you guys feel with kids, wife and a job. Its absolutely pointless! My friends have helped me get to where I am now and it already feels like a part time job!
I enjoy this game but this is the first major thing that has made me feel like I don’t want to put my time into it is this bs grindy way of securing 5m when nothing in the game costs 1% of that value. Embark get your sh*t together next season and make it a FUN way to earn those 5 skill points.
I have not enjoyed 1 bit of this road to 5m, I love …
I’ve been enjoying arc raiders with a gamepad for a few weeks now but missed the precision of a keyboard and mouse. Unfortunately my existing split keyboards just didn’t work due to lack of a number row etc… so I built this little guy and then grunged it up to feel like it was made in a workshop in Speranza! The case is 3d printed on my Prusa Mk4 and painted with Panduro hobby acrylics and some weathering powder. I’m still perfecting the keymap but what I have is working pretty well for me so far!
Never ran into one of these guys before lmao
Seriously, I don’t have gear fear, I usually run with blues and pink/purples on all my runs, I don’t care if I get killed, I say “gg enjoy my loot,” then load in again.
Having to go through all the menus to re-craft all the attachments, weapon upgrades, re-crafting mats because you’re short on something (usually mechanical components), and slotting them is so god damn annoying. Just give us a loadout and display the master BILL OF MATERIALS (BOM), because this QOL implementation will be fuckin amazing.
Hello raiders, I would like to express how thankful I am for the game and it’s community for helping me through some of my mental health struggles.
I’ve only put in 123 hours so far but this game has done alot for me by helping me push slightly out of my comfort zone by being in close proximity to other players.
At the moment I’m trying to overcome my fear of speaking and I think the ai voice changers will really help me out because I’ll be able to use a male AI voice changer to speak. I won’t have to feel self conscious because it won’t sound anything like me.
It’s also brought me closer to my best friend/brother. We message everyday but due to us playing on different systems it’s quite hard to find games to play together. (he plays on PC I play on ps5) But ever since I bought arc raiders we’ve played consecutively every single day for a handful of hours. Even if we have bad matches it doesn’t matter to me because I get to …
