“Starlancer’s rollercoaster missions offer intense, scripted space battles. Explore various ship types and campaign co-op, but beware of challenging later levels. A prequel to Freelancer, this space sim blends WWII dogfights with modern tech.”
Hey r/pcgaming,
2B from PatchRadar here.
As the year is coming to an end, we wanted to do one last small update post and, most importantly, say thank you.
Since our first posts here, the amount of support, feedback, and game requests we’ve received from this community (& Discord) has honestly been overwhelming. A lot of the features and improvements we’ve shipped over the past months are a direct result of comments, DMs, and discussions we’ve had with you.
A quick snapshot of where PatchRadar is at right now:
Total supported products: 834
Total news posts: 35,906
Of which are patch notes: 15,008
Many of those additions came straight from user requests. People asking for niche games, early access titles, new features - and we’ve been doing our best to keep up.
For anyone who hasn’t seen our previous posts: PatchRadar is a small side project by a few friends and me. The goal has always been simple - a clean, noiseless place to keep up with game updates straight from the source. …
This game will tell you a story about life in a warn-torn country, but far away from the front. It shows the side of the war that almost nobody is talking about. There are no bravery, heroism, or sacrifice that you would expect from a tale about war - just people who are trying to survive and piece together what remains of their lives. It is a tale of the Forgotten Ones, people whose stories you would otherwise never know.
Your goal will be simple - you need to reach the shop and buy the bread. And without further ado, here is where it can be played for free, online in your browser:

In theory it can be played on mobile device as well. One person told me it works. I have no way to test it myself. But since we are all PC gamers here, this probably will not be relevant anyway)
The plot is based on war in Ukraine since here i can talk about things that i see in my daily life, but it is not specific and probably can be applied for other military …
I’ve been somewhat shooty since emerging topside, I’ve shot raiders in the back sometimes whilst looting, sometimes whilst fighting arc, I’ve also camped a few extractions here and there, and definitely sat waiting at the top of the Dam Control Tower zip (you know the one).
This behaviour has landed me squarely in the shark tank, until expedition departure. On my first excursion topside with my new, and fresh-faced raider, I decided to take a different tack, I’d be friendly, defib when I could, stabilise the downed and help my fellow raiders fight off the mechanised oppression of arc!
The more matches I’ve adhered to these new, warm and fuzzy rules the more stunned I am by the friendliness of other raiders, as Embark matches me with similar, peaceful raiders who want nothing more than to coexist and invade each other’s personal space. There’s no loot contention, and other raiders feel confident and safe enough to jog up to me and loot the …
I spawn in with the clock at 29:25 and I’m taking damage at 29:22. Im a casual gamer so to get this loadout was literally days of grinding. I would love to get my stuff back but i know it probably wont happen. At least i can share this clip. I guess the game wants you to just spam free loadout and never bring anything in. I love the game to death but spawns being this broken in an extraction shooter is unacceptable.
Finally found some use for my flight tech.
