Just to give some more insight to the last announcements for TGA. It was very intriguing to go back and see how many games didn’t release, or were horrible like Fade to Silence. For example right before the matrix reveal, Arc Raiders was revealed back when it was a Looter Shooter. From what I’ve gathered, usually the final reveal isn’t the biggest reveal, those are usually the first or close to the beginning Such as the Xbox Series X being revealed first during 2018.
Edit: went back and watched the final reveals to double check and wrote this first …
One of the best games I played in my opinion and now the post game blues/depression is hitting me now
Like… you’re not sad about life itself, but there’s this weird emptiness once it’s over. The routine is gone. No more loading it up thinking “just one more session.”
I can still do post-game or side content, but after beating the main story, it feels different. Not empty exactly, just quieter. The main journey is done, and now it’s just endgame stuff, and the motivation doesn’t hit the same way.
It’s that strange feeling of knowing you’re finished with something that meant a lot, even though you’re technically not done yet.
Hey everyone! I am currently releasing my horror game next week! (after almost 1 year in development) and very excited.
I was going to release it in February but changed the date to 23 January now, but since a ton of games are coming out around that time and also due to having some other personal things I had on that date I had to change the release date - so instead of delaying it again I push it forward and it’s now coming out 23 January 2026!
It’s a fatal-frame inspired Photography horror game where you have to hunt ghosts and anomalies with your camera and you can get attacked. You can then pet your cat that will be with you the whole game in order to restore back your sanity!
If you like I would really appreciate it if you can wishlist the game on steam here as it really helps a solo dev out: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3403660/The_18th_Attic__Paranormal_Anomaly_Hunting_Game/
Thank you so much!
Hey everyone!
After around 4 years of solo development, I just released the demo of my game From The Void on Steam, and it feels a bit unreal and scary.
From The Void is a tactical sci-fi autobattler where you assemble a fleet of ships, place them on a hex grid, and build devastating synergies through ship roles, modules, relics, and hangar bonuses. A big part of the gameplay is deciding who fights and who supports from the hangar, shaping your build in sometimes unexpected ways.
The demo is still early and very much a foundation, but you can already:

I’d love feedback, balance, UX, difficulty, bugs, or just how it feels to play. Every comment helps a ton at this stage.
Thanks for reading,
Happy to answer any questions :)

The Epic Games Store had a double freebie drop this week, and they are both from the same franchise.
Styx: Master of Shadows and Styx: Shards of Darkness are the latest giveaways, offering their stealth-focused adventures featuring the arcane goblin, Styx. The second title even offers cooperative play for two-player sneaking, stealing, and assassinating.
The double giveaway is slated to last until January 22. On the same day, Rustler - Grand Theft Horse will be the next freebie.

The Humble Store had a few new bundles to show off too, and we begin with a look at the Playful Platformers collection.
This carries Super Kiwi 64, Lunistice, and Pogostuck for $5, followed by Demon Turf: Queens Edition, Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines, and Move or Die in the $8 tier. You get all the games if you …
Last week, I finally announced my first game on Steam!
Bloomies.
I love monster collecting and farming games and wanted to bring that feeling combined to the taskbar in the form of a cozy experience.
The game runs separately on the taskbar, so you can scroll through Reddit or do other things at the same time. (You can reposition the game in the options if you want it on another position)
You have to grow eggs from plants to hatch new Bloomies.
There are also “Sparkle” Bloomies (similar to Shinys in Pokémon). The chance for these to appear are low but you can level up a skill to increase the chance.
The Bloomies also have a rank that determines their strength. The Rank is RNG. If you get an S+ Rank Bloomie it will drop a hat of itself that you can put on any Bloomie!
You can automate the game over the time.
The battles against so-called “Shadow Bloomies” run automatically.
You can also fight bosses to unlock new seeds and decorative items in the shop.
And the most important …
New to the 5080 and decided to try using Frame Generation in a couple games, namely Cyberpunk and Oblivion Remastered, and because I’m a stubborn fool who likes pushing tech to its minimums and maximums I decided to try getting acquainted with Frame Generation, and now I’ve got it working very well (about 60ms end-to-end latency) I’m convinced that most people who talk about the latency were set up to faila from the start and have had their first impression of it ruined.
When I first tried using it, I started with 4x immediately and the in-game frame cap and it felt very bad, a very noticeable difference between frame gen off and on. Most in-game frame caps I’ve tried tend to work in ways where the GPU acts like it has a full frame buffer (not sure why this is, I’m technical but no expert), so adding frame gen latency onto that is a big disaster. Using Frame Generation on a card that’s also maxing out utility is also a bad idea, for the same reason. …
I’m almost serious about the title….. ALMOST. Im fuckin done, can’t find the 3rd one for shit. I will trade someone on PS5 for one please… PLEASEEEEE. Name your price, only thing I won’t trade you is snap hooks. But shit maybe I would at this point 😭.
I think Embark should add more poses for dead raiders. Right now it looks ridiculous when several raiders are lying next to each other.

Is it just me, or does it feel kind of weird that only the party leader can see the map and raids? Right now, the rest of the squad is just sitting there in the dark waiting for a mission to start.
I’d love to see a shared setup similar to how Helldivers does it. Everyone should be able to see the map, check out the raids, and see what we’re getting into, but keep the actual “selection” power with the leader so things don’t get messy.
It would make it way easier to actually plan where to go as a team instead of just following the leader blindly. It’s a small quality-of-life change, but I think it would make the pre-game vibe a lot better.
Spawned at 29:34, basically top of the match but the fight doesn’t begin until 28:48 and is officially dead by around 25:52.
When you’re in enough friendly lobbies, these players in the upper echelons are so thoroughbred that their skill levels and coordination make Matriarch lobbies almost like speedruns. This isn’t every lobby but you eventually experience it enough that it changes your approach on what you feel is an adequate amount of gear to bring with you.
You don’t need to bring in an Army-of-One loadout. All you need is enough for your slice of the fight. Oftentimes, you’ll end up bringing more than you needed and you shouldn’t judge someone’s loadout as lacking just because they didn’t decide to be the terminator. If everyone came in extremely loaded you simply couldn’t get through all that ammo without it dying first or quite frankly the synergy isn’t up to par causing a longer fight.
