Cairn is a demanding and deeply personal experience that effectively combines physics simulation, resource management, and environmental storytelling. We’ll be immersed in the feeling of facing a real challenge, where every decision matters and the mountain is perceived as a relentless enemy. It won’t be a game for everyone, especially those seeking immediate accessibility, but if we connect with its premise, we’ll discover an intense, meditative, and absorbing adventure that rewards patience, observation, and precision. Hello all! I am the solo developer of The 18th Attic and I recently just launched the game after over 1 year in development! I am giving away a $25 Steam Gift Card to one random user who comments and 1 copy of “The 18th Attic” horror game on steam that I made.
It’s a horror game where you have to take pictures of ghosts and anomalies using your Polaroid camera (inspired by goat Fatal Frame) but each time you get attacked or scared you have to pet your cat to restore your sanity otherwise it will be harder to catch the real anomalies.
If you like to check it out, I would appreciate is very much if you can also share your feedbacks - As a solo dev this really helps out a ton!

All you have to do is comment anything you want so I can see you and will put a Reddit traffler to enter the GIVEAWAY. What you are going to buy, your fav game, a sweet memory or such!

I’m the original developer of Star Quest 1 in the 27th Century, first released in 1995. I spent the last few weeks updating it for a 30th Anniversary Edition so it runs on Windows without the need to install and configure a DOS emulator yourself. I also modified the code to support game controllers and joystick with HOTAS setup and revised the keyboard and mouse control too.
The game has different play modes and missions:
Missions:
He clearly unintentionally shot the wall directly in front of him after his aimbot snapped to the guy behind the door.
I’ve never seen this before, it dropped a couple bastion cells and a queen reactor. Is it a new thing
Came across this screenshot today. Someone killed a guy who was clearly trying to use a duplication glitch, and this was the loot they dropped. (See attached image)
It seems like more people are starting to exploit this. If this becomes common, it’s going to ruin the experience for everyone. Does anyone know if the devs have officially addressed this yet?
Really hope this gets patched soon before the whole meta gets ruined by duped gear.
I just finished the project. You just get a Jupiter and a Guitar as a reward and it’s done. No Trophy Display, no way to exhibit anything even the new ducks that I thought it was for.
What a disappointment. Just call it « Farm things and get rewards » or « A long boring quest but it’s called project » next time so I don’t put my expectations too high.
And I mean PERMANENT, meaning you collect and keep them learned as you do more.
Addendum: Already on track to complete the Second Expedition. Just wanted to make a suggestion that would make it (and future others) even more appealing.
