Hello chefs,
My name’s Dan Schumacher and I’m one of 2 developers on Omelet You Cook, a roguelike cooking game where you assemble omelets for a demanding giant chicken principal.
The game is all about creating synergies with ridiculous ingredients and arranging them so number go up. A lot of our reviews mention that it gives them that addictive Balatro feeling. We were also inspired by Luck be a Landlord, Ballionaire and cooking games like Papa’s Pizzeria.
After 21 content updates throughout 7 months of early access we’re thrilled to launch into 1.0 today with a Steam daily deal! We’re very proud to have 600+ 99% positive reviews and we hope 1.0 will help us reach a wider audience.
I’m happy to answer any questions on anything related to the game or our journey making it throughout early access :)

Silly Live Action Teaser: …
You play as Mako, a girl raised in the Temple of the Fire Bird. The worlds around her are being torn apart by amber storms, and her goal is clear - to stop them and save what is falling apart. This is a story-driven adventure with a clear direction, unfolding in a vast world that encourages exploration.

Mako is accompanied by a red Bird sealed inside her staff. It is not just a companion - the Bird shapes both combat and movement, evolving alongside the journey and becoming an essential part of exploring the world.
Alongside the main storyline, the game features side quests and optional paths that expand the world and reveal its characters. The story does not break off, but allows for unexpected turns that can challenge the player’s expectations. Mechanics gradually evolve, and new ideas are introduced as the journey moves forward.
The visual style is intentionally inspired by classic platformers. The world is designed to be open …
We’re making a co-op survival game for Steam.
You and up to 3 friends are watching TV when the news suddenly announces that a nuclear war has started. The signal cuts out it’s freezing outside and the only goal is to find a bunker somewhere nearby. There’s no leveling or combat focus. The real enemies are cold, time, wrong turns, and sometimes your own teammates. You explore large locations follow vague clues, get lost, freeze, and make temporary shelters while trying to figure out where the bunker actually is.
-Resources are shared, crafting is simple and situational, and weather constantly pressures your decisions. Blizzards can force you to stop and prepare or risk pushing forward and paying for it later.
-you can find abandoned cars, garages, and fuel. Vehicles help you move and stay warm, but running out of fuel in the wrong place can be a disaster. Friendly fire exists mostly for chaos and stories sometimes a friend becomes dead weight, and the team …

I’ve been developing this game as part of a five-person team, working together to bring to life a spiritual successor to old school fantasy RPGs where steel, magic, and player skill decide your fate. Inspired by the legacy of Ultima Online and EverQuest, we aim to capture the depth, freedom, and challenge that defined the classics.
Huge day for me tomorrow as I’m releasing my game Pixel Wizard to the world.
It has been a huge journey and I never thought I would make it this far.
I have to thank my play testers as they have been invaluable to me especially during the last stretch of development.
Pretty excited and nervous about the big day.
I have been play testing frantically all weekend while the missus just looking at me weird.
I have to work tomorrow so after work I’ll come home and release my game.
I’ve been waiting for this day for 5 years now.

We wanted to share the demo trailer for GRIMPS, our upcoming over-the-top FPS.
GRIMPS is built around fast, ridiculous combat. You jump into increasingly unhinged fights against cute-but-dangerous plushies, using weapons that make zero sense - like a shark as a gun, throwing stools, or whatever you can grab in the moment).
The game focuses on:
- High-speed, arcade-style FPS combat
- Absurd weapons and interactions
- Enemies that look cute right up until they overwhelm you
We’ve got a playable demo available, and feedback is hugely appreciated at this stage.
Thanks for checking it out!

I cannot see anything, and I can see stuff with my monitors.
OLEDs are crippled. My friends and I love a lot of Stella, but something changed about map rotations. Even daytime Stella raids seem to be like 50% blackouts. Not even emergency lighting, just DARK.
If you skip it youre in for some bad time. Gotten some good stuff from them also
I always thought that mode was for people who actually know what they’re doing. I’m not one of those people.
I lose PvP fights I should statistically win. I panic‑roll. I whiff shots. And yet.. Solo vs Squad has become my new obsession. The tension is unreal. The map feels empty but dangerous, like everyone else forgot to loot half the POIs.
Loadout ist just Looting Augment + Hairpin + Hatch Key and suddenly you’re not playing ARC Raiders anymore. You’re playing Splinter Cell 2.0. Sneaking through buildings, listening to squads fight each other while you’re crouched in a corner. Didn’t expect to become a Solo vs Squad rat, but here we are.
That feeling when you spend the last five minutes looting all the bodies and somehow still manage to extract.. it hits different. You should give it a try.
See you Topside
NEVER loot a key room opened by another raider unless they are done looting
