I’ll explain a little bit, using examples. In Infamous, >!if you choose the “dark” ending, you “double” Cole’s powers and he looks all evil and fires red/black lightning, though i doubt he actually gets more powerful.!< And it just stays that way, you can’t go back, unless you start a new game. Similarly, in Shadow of War, >!after the Wraith chooses to leave Talion, he puts on one of the rings that belonged to a nazgul and turns “bad”. His powers change, even though the mechanics are similar.!<
I love it when stuff like that happens, and i’ve only seen it in games so little. Sometimes, it’s like the developers refrain from doing it on purpose, even though it’s just a logical step to take. For Far cry 5, for example, i really wish Ubisoft had the balls to actually >!let you run around in a nuclear wasteland after the credits rolled.!< I’m honestly surprised this doesn’t happen more …
