Hey folks!
Title says it all. Scarlet Hollow’s fifth episode released a little under a week ago, which means we’re one major content update away from finishing its story and leaving Early Access. It’s still on sale until tomorrow at 1pm EST on Steam, and I believe it should be on sale for a little while longer than that on GOG.
Folks participating in this AMA:
Me, Tony Howard-Arias (u/mrogre43): I was the lead writer and game designer for Slay the Princess, and I’m also the game designer and co-writer for Scarlet Hollow.
Abby Howard (u/abby722): Scarlet Hollow’s lead writer and only artist, and also the co-creator, artist, and editor for Slay the Princess.
Brandon Boone (u/wondrous_sound): Our composer, who went through the ringer of writing over twenty new tracks for Scarlet Hollow’s fifth episode!
Happy to answer questions about either of our games and/or indie game development in general, though of course we won’t be …
Nvidia does not even care about gamers anymore.

Maybe I really should just get a job and move out of my parent’s basement……
I unlocked this room yesterday on a raid, noticed someone coming into the area out of my peripheral so immediately dropped some shock mines. Then this player proceeds to whine at me through the door. “Why are you dropping mines”, “are you going to kill me”, I just threw up a “yes” and carried on looting, wary of them. Anyway, they stay out there complaining for the next five minutes, calling ME the rat. I’m sorry but if you expect to loot someone else’s keyed room, you can expect PVP
There was no obligation of adding that, and I know it is something really minor, but the fact that they did it, is this small things that show not only that the game is good, but that the people working on it, care about the game.
