So, this game just released and is being sold as a premium $40 experience. It also had a large free playtest on offer where people tried the game out. What wasn’t in the playtest was the mtx, but Bungie had assured people that it was only cosmetics. Good news - it’s only cosmetics. Bad news, it’s about as predatory as most gachas.
Featuring, dark pattern #1: currency packs worth $10, which give you 1100 currency coins, but items in the store costs 1120. That’s a gacha classic.
Edit: Wow! a lot of pushback on this one, which I felt was the most cut and dry out of all the examples. This might actually be illegal in the EU - source and the specific pages in that source which I feel it breaks: https://postimg.cc/gallery/4K1C5RW
dark pattern #2: The skins? They’re currently on “sale” in the store, and cost $15. Otherwise, they’re $20. What a deal! How gracious of them to discount this! These are mostly recolors though. And then comes the premium battle pass, which has only one skin- …
I really enjoy these types of games yet I am unable to get past the midgame point of these games without it slowing down, I am unable to find enjoyment after it starts massively slowing down for me.
It’s incredibly rare, it’s insanely good at making your weapons dead quiet, and it cannot be crafted.
The silencer 3 should be a legendary tier attachment.
I never jump to this room without tossing a grenade first after being murdered by campers once too often. Spider caught me a fly this time.

I was born in 1988 so I’m probably considered an ancient gamer but that means literally none of the games I grew up play had “endgame content”.
Endgame content in Mario Kart 64 was they made the maps backwards.
If you’re bored of arc raiders? ITS OKAY TO PLAY ANOTHER GAME. It blows my mind to see posts where people have 400 hours and they say there is nothing for them to do. Play another game, go outside, literally do anything other than play arc raiders if it bores you.
I’m over 260 hours topside done both expeditions and am still enjoying the hell out of the game and haven’t thought about “endgame content” once. I upgrade all my stuff, then switch to a more PvP focus. And if I do feel bored I just play another game
I guess I’m just old man yelling at the clouds but what are your thoughts?
If the leaper was more aggressive when you ran into a building and tried to fish you out of there with one of its legs, I think it would be really cool and make them more menacing. I feel like the leaper is one of my favorite enemies but it just isn’t very threatening at the moment I feel like the Leaper is one of my favorite enemies, but it could feel way more threatening and interesting with this minor addition to its behavior
for once in my life, i bring good stuff to stella montis night raid to grind shredders, and i get ambushed by someone (only been in the friendly lobbies for the past two weeks, i have little to none Raider v Raider experience. i have no issue with pvp, just wasn’t expecting it while solo)
now, im not mad at being downed, i got stuck on a zipline and just got fucked, while two free kits helped take him down, but i think its a bit bullshit that the extraction point is RIGHT THERE, and i had two friendly raiders (free kits) who were willing to heal me till i could extract. except you CANNOT get out from the elevator from this point.
im less mad at being cheap shot with a ferro and more pissed that i literally had no chance of survival, and lost an aphelion due to it.
I wouldnt mind it if there was even just a “boost” option, that allowed other non partied raiders to “boost” you up a bit over railings or small drops to help you get to extraction if they dont …
So many time I sold item that I need for the next step of a project. I always have to look online to get my information.
