Ive spent the last several hours playing CB2077 at 4k mostly high setting grinding random side jobs while toggling between full quality, Static FX CAS at 80%, and FX CAS at 80% with RIS at 100%.
Without RIS CAS alone at 80% is muddy looks bad but with RIS enabled along with it I have a hard time finding a difference in quality between it and full native rendered 4K. Occasionally even finding the artificially sharpened image to be “better” than naive 4K. At my custom setting in this scene I get 57fps with native rendering and 89fps with CAS and RIS.

This will probably get ignored but I think this feature is being overlooked and underrated by most reviewers a media outlets. If DLSS is touted as the saving grace for CB2077 then this is applicable as well. I’ve seen the pixel to pixel comparisons and from what I see this is very viable and highly effective.
