Niche Gamer - 95% > I can confidently say Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark is consistently amazing. The utterly lovable two protagonists complement each other with their polarized personalities. The clever yet sometimes perverted humor never fails to make me smile or laugh. The perfect and responsive 2D-pixel platforming gameplay and great co-op implementation make this cleaning a job a hard one not to recommend.

Hello everyone! 👋 I want to tell you about a recent case of abuse by the publisher and developer NeocoreGames. Their employees probably made a bunch of mistakes a few years ago. Or, more likely, they just sold keys for the company’s products for cheap and pocketed the profits. 😅

Anyway, in March 2025, Steam users who activated keys for FOUR NeocoreGames games in 2022-2023 were faced with the revocation of those keys. The company deletes comments on the Steam forum, closes discussions and mumbles some nonsense about privacy. It is clear that they decided to “correct” their own mistakes at the expense of players.

I think that Steam’s policy of leaving publishers (not always adequate and honest) unlimited lifetime control over game keys is idiotic. Imagine you bought a cabinet. And a few years later the manufacturer stole this cabinet because he decided that you paid too little or bought it in “the wrong” store.

The gigantic hitboxes for most of the skillshots are just so broken. Good luck if you end up on a server with anything over 50 ping. There’s literally nothing you can do, but try to guess and preemptively dodge. You see a haze tossing a dagger? No point in dashing it’s already hit you. I’ve ended up on 110ping servers with grey talon and if you just shoot in the general direction of a hero it lands 100% of the time. It’s just so ass

It’s not just those… Dynamo stomp, lash stomp, vindicta raven, etc. It just feels so cheap. I know it’s an alpha and whatever, but damn.
