An investment fund connected to the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) has acquired roughly five percent of Capcom, as the country continues to invest in the video game industry.
This fund - the Electronic Gaming Development Company (EGDC) has bought 26.78m shares of the Japanese video game giant, which comes to around 5.03 percent of total shares. This fund also owns the entirety of SNK - the developer behind Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and the King of Fighters series.
The EGDC has said, as part of a report to the Kanto Local Finance Bureau, this share purchase is “pure investment”. This essentially means it would aim to gain profits from the valuation of the stocks going up. Capcom’s recent releases have propelled the company into something of a golden age, with Resident Evil Requiem the latest example of a smash hit triple-A release.
That’s only half the picture though, as the PIF already directly bought roughly five percent of Capcom shares …
Open House will be the last Major update for FBC: Firebreak. We won’t be adding new playable content after this update.
FBC: Firebreak will stay online and continue to be playable for years to come
We have done engineering work to ensure we can sustain the upkeep of the relay servers when the player volume is lower.
To ensure there are players to play with (this being a multiplayer game and all!), we are introducing the Friend’s Pass
Anyone who has bought FBC: Firebreak can invite their friends to play with them, for free. All they have to do is download the Friends Pass version, which is the full game with some limitations (shown as “Free Trial” version on console storefronts), and they can matchmake with the bought version of the game, as long as the person who bought the game invites their friends to play. This works across platforms.
We are permanently lowering the price of the game to:
Base Game $19.99 / €19.99 / £16.74
Deluxe Edition $29.99 / €29.99 / £26.74 …
Sale ends March 19th.
Notice: the game does not include mission select. Progression is linear. Save files can be backed up manually if you’d want to replay segments. Don’t try the demo, not worth it as you have to skim 20 minutes through a walking section at the beginning
It is extremely dangerous and could attack at any moment, so we must deal with it.
Bettina should be changed to be a high damage battle rifle (DMR), not a low damage assault rifle.
Lets look at some of the other guns in the game
|Gun|Ammo Type|Damage per shot| |:-|:-|:-| |Bettina|Heavy|14| |Ferro|Heavy|40| |Anvil|Heavy|40| |Venator|Medium|8(2x) = 16 damage| |Renegade|Medium|35| |Osprey|Medium|45|
Other heavy ammo weapons hit for 40, vs the Bettina hitting for only 14. Several of the medium ammo guns do more damage per shot than the Bettina. The Bettina should be an upgrade to the Renegade and should be able to 1 shot a rotor off wasp like the renegade can.
Making the gun hit for 40 like other heavy ammo guns would be way too strong, but the damage should be buffed to at least the amount of damage needed to 1 shot a rotor off a wasp (probably around 25 damage).
Change the rate of fire from full auto to semi auto with a max fire rate of ~ 300 RPM.
Now the Bettina would feel like a bad ass gun to use against arc.
Plz. Embark, make this gun fun to use and not need …
Arguably the worst gun in the game, I personally think the Bettina could have great potential with a minimum 10% - 15% damage buff (against ARC and raiders). It also needs a 15% bullet velocity buff, so bullets have more weight and a greater effect / impact against flying ARC.
IMO this is the least efficient gun in the game right now. I always bring a full row of heavy ammo into raids with the Bettina and still run out before extracting, while I can usually do the same amount of damage with a single stack of ammo and the Anvil. This gun often gets passed on and overlooked since the Anvil is a much better heavy ammo gun option, but it would be nice if the devs would show some love and buff the Bettina.
The Anvil. Small. Hard. Reliable.
A gun that favours precise accuracy and in exchange fairly rewards in high damage.
A gun that can deal with both ARCs and players, both in close and long range.
Too cheap to be fear losing it in a raid.
Too expensive to be thrown away on a whim.
And you look cool as fuck using it.
Embark has nerfed almost every other gun in the game, this one will get its own nerf too. And when it does, it will probably split or break the community because of how beloved it is.
Because it just feels right in every. Single. Damn. Way.
I saw a lot of post about the limited hair options for us women well Embark kinda listened lol they definitely check the Reddit comments
Downed someone on a rooftop in buried city after waiting for them to loot the rooftop and come back to the stairwell. As I was knocking them out they said “don’t worry man, I’m not any good at the game either.”
Yea, that hurt. Might have to go back to a regular shooter after that.
