this might sound dramatic but i think competitive multiplayer games were slowly ruining gaming for me and i didnt even realize it.

for like 8 years straight the only games i played were ranked. valorant, league, overwatch, csgo before that. every single session ended with me either tilted or just feeling nothing.

i wasnt having fun i was just chasing a rank. id win 3 games and feel nothing, lose 2 and want to throw my monitor out the window. my free time was being spent angry at strangers on the internet and i somehow convinced myself this was a hobby i enjoyed.

about 6 months ago i just stopped. cold turkey. uninstalled everything. felt weird for like 2 weeks because i didnt know what to play. then i picked up red dead 2 because id owned it for years and never touched it.

i cannot describe the feeling of just… playing a game. no rank, no teammates screaming, no meta to worry about, no patches making the thing i learned useless overnight. just me and a world that doesnt care …

I normally have very friendly solo lobbies. I don’t mind sharing the loot normally but this key specifically i had tried 3x to open and it was open when i got there. I went there with the intentions of blocking the door off as you can see me try and do. I warn the guy not to loot and he still keeps on. Do not loot a key room thinking its all fine and dandy without saying shit. I normally have Defibs but didn’t bring some this time so he got the fist and hopefully a lesson learned.

I finally did it. Ive been trying for a couple weeks now. Hard to find lobbies where no one is fighting the queen. Since its just me I get all the cores. Sold all of it for 270k. I used 7 deadlines but made sure to never place one on the armored skull. Either shoot it off or place a deadline while the core is exposed for a little bit. I got scammed though. I left all the legs on and still missed some cores.

I suck at this game.
