> Fellow Greymanes,
It has been a little over 36 hours since launch, and we would like to start with a sincere thank you to everyone who has been playing Crimson Desert.
> Since launch, we have been listening closely to your feedback and doing our best to make improvements to the game. In particular, we are aware of the discomfort many players have experienced with the controls, and we are currently preparing a patch to address this. We also want to apologize for not providing keyboard and mouse players with a satisfactory gameplay experience.
> Please know we are taking your feedback seriously and working to improve your gameplay experience as quickly as possible.
> We’re following your experiences across issue reports, videos, livestreams, and community discussions. Every report and shared experience helps us make the game better, and we truly appreciate the time you take to share them with us.
> We’ll keep working …
Loved the game so much + to coincide with the 30th anniversary this weekend I decided giving away a Steam Code to a lucky individual! This will be the standard edition.
Unfortunately with where I got the code from, I’m limited to only offering this to fellow Canadians or an American. I scoured many sites and unfortunately, it’s region locked everywhere. I’m sorry to everyone else :(
Due to bots ravaging this site, I’ll be carefully seeing if you aren’t one by your karma on here (if your profile is public) if not that’s okay, but I’ll have to request your Steam Friend code then. I just want to be as fair as possible, this is a genuine code I’d like to offer to someone that really is going to play it.
Comment with your favourite RE character to enter! Who knows, maybe Grace will supplant your choice if you win!

How did Indies sell their games before Steam?(online, not the shareware years where you had to mail a check to developer).
Were there Steam alternatives?
I hear that there were a few sites that distributed casual games exclusively, but couldn’t compete with Mobile.
How did PopCap games distribute their games? I remember playing a few of their games when I was young.

Hi r/pcgaming,
I’m making GlagStone, a black-and-white island city-builder with a strong story running through it.
You arrive on a remote island as its new governor, only to find the lighthouse damaged, the settlement falling apart, and the previous leader missing. The game is about rebuilding the island piece by piece, keeping people alive through shortages and uncertainty, and uncovering what happened here through diaries, letters, and unsettling discoveries.
I wanted to share an early look at it here, and I’d love to know what catches your attention first — the visual style, the mood, or the city-building side of it.

stuck in the fort loot cellar, no way out. seems flares make a great decoy!
Not many people know about this yet.
A bunch of you seem to have this item permanently in their safe pocket. Reading some unhinged posts about pvp players in this sub has only made me rustle jimmies even more.
Anyways, hope to have some good fights
Background - I am an unc for sure. Been gaming on shooters for literally over 30 years. I started out by doing PVP on Arc, but now generally PVE focused and in some really great servers. I dont feel like this simple tactic to help keep rats at bey has been talked about much
To everyone that hates getting ratted, the thing you can control the most, is how you present yourself. I know everyone loves the safety of running around without a care in the world, but then these are the same people that rage when they get ratted. A bit of prevention that I can only say seems to be working for me, is stay suspicious and dont look like a piece of meat.
Most rats seek out easy prey, the ones that never pull a gun out, run out in the open, and just seem to be wandering free. They’re watching you and you probably havent really seen them because you are just focused on your next POI.
Great defense for that, peacocking it. This means move intelligently (seek cover or at least passive …
If you ping the current objective on the mission list to the left side of the map it’ll mark it on the map. Well shit. The amount of times I’ve been complaining about unclear mission texts.I feel really really stupid.
EDIT: I tried it again and this time it didn’t work… must investigate further.
EDIT 2: It seems to work for some quest, and some not?
There were only three lockers to loot from and they have mediocre loot except for one, which had a Torrente. Besides those lockers, there weren’t any other containers.
Before the patch, this room had way more content and there is usually a weapons case. What the frick happened to this room?
