4P.de - Christian Just and Sören Wetterau - German - 75 > Marathon is an extraction shooter that truly does its own thing. It is visually unique, yet complex and not easily deciphered. However, those who stick with it are rewarded with fantastic matches and a motivating gameplay loop.

Marathon demands a great deal of patience and time before you begin to truly enjoy it, but as the hours pass, it manages to transform into an obsession. Bungie’s signature touch is evident in its gameplay, as well as in the construction of its universe and its difficulty. It stands unique among extraction …

I just started playing two days and and i was doing the night raid for Dam battlegrounds and i found this big ass battery and thought that maybe it was important so i carried it across the damn map dodging robots left and right and finally i get to the extract, i run towards the entrance with explosions and bullets over my head, get in with 3 other raiders and we start extracting right away because we are getting cooked and as we are extracting i hear them laughing and one of them says “you brought the battery you crazy motherfucker” and thats when i realized i wasted like 10 minutes lol
Last night I was raiding with my pals, we’re getting ready to extract from Dam, we see an elevator right next to a building. With 10 minutes left we decide to loot the building before leaving.
We start to grab some items when we hear people outside. My friend asks “Hey, guys! Are you friendly?!” We are a friendly group, we rarely ever shoot first, but if we’re shot at, dialogue is closed and we’re not afraid to shoot back. Their response was the most honest, honorable thing I’ve ever seen in this game so far:
“No dude. We’re actually going to try to kill you if we see you”
We all said in unison “oh. You sure?” — and same guy responds “yes, for real man.” My friend said “oh, alright then, good luck” and they said good luck back at us.
We did get visual on them and as promised, they started to fire. We fired back, downed one of them and they retreated, we got into the elevator and left. They surely were able to ress their friend and left just fine.
Even though pvp isn’t our favorite …

The team is hard at work getting the Flashpoint update ready for next week, and we’re excited for you to dive into the new content.
We’ve also seen some questions about the size of our weekly patches, so to clarify: these updates are focused on smaller quality-of-life improvements and store rotations. Our larger, more content-heavy updates are currently planned for the end of each month.
See you topside,
Ossen
