Hi everyone! I’m Ken, the solo dev behind BattleGroupVR! I built the first game because I wanted a space RTS where you could command a fleet from the bridge of your own flagship—not just as some distant observer. It was an amazing journey, and I’m so grateful for all the support from the players.
Now, I’m making a bigger, better sequel that expands on everything I loved about the first game. This time, you’ll be able to explore an open-world galaxy, take on missions, mine, trade, and grow your fleet however you want.
I just launched the Steam and Meta Quest pages, and wishlisting really helps a ton. Please check it out! 🚀

Even if this game never gets released I’m always amazed by the updates, professional work right there. These guys not only understood what Megaman X is about but evolved it to something even better.

Explore abandoned city districts to scavenge for food and resources, but stay alert—each area contains portals that spawn relentless enemies. Your mission is to activate the portal and eliminate all hostile forces before they overrun you. These creatures won’t stop until they reach your base, so you’ll need to fortify your defenses using turrets, mines, and barricades.
Ammunition is scarce, and you’ll have to craft it yourself using gathered resources. Moreover, enemies can hear your footsteps and, even worse, your gunfire, making every encounter a life-or-death situation.
Craft weapons, mines, tripwires, grenades, and other essential tools to strengthen your defenses. Team coordination, tactical planning, and efficient resource management are the keys to survival.
Are you ready for the challenge?

Asia Today reports that NCSoft, Nexon, Netmarble, and Krafton are locked in a fierce competition to secure the rights to Blizzard Entertainment’s iconic *StarCraft* franchise. The contract would include the rights to develop new games as well as global publishing rights for the Starcraft brand…
In my 56 years I managed to collect a *lot* of game manuals/maps/goodies that came with the boxed versions. Alas, moving country, moving house, divorce, cleaning house, neglect etc, has whittled them down to mostly what you see here. There are a few more I haven’t included, mainly maps that came with games, like City of Heroes, GTA III et al. The Diablo manual is probably the oldest thing you can see here. I bought the game when it was released in the 90s and the manual dates from that. I daresay it’s older than a good percentage of the people reading this!

Originally, it was under development for several years as an MMORPG game called ‘Project BBQ’, but it was discontinued and quickly turned into a souls-like game called ‘First Berserker Khazan’.
Do you think the success of Khazan could lead to a revival of Project BBQ?
I’ve been playing offlane forever, and these past few weeks, with Veno jungle being meta, have really been bothering me—especially how toxic and doglike the attitude of these Venomancer players is. You jungle from level 1, which is fine, but don’t expect me to win the lane 1v2 against the safelane, especially when the current meta supports are Jakiro or other lane-dominating supports.
I creep pull, gain levels, and avoid dying—that’s the best I can f**king do. So please, when the enemy safelane gets free farm, don’t put all the blame on me, especially when you won’t even gank the lane, not even to contest an XP rune. You got out of the jungle, top networth and top level but end up dying because you thought you can 1 v 3 the enemy, and end up feeding more.
And for the love of god, after you go Orchid/Mek, don’t waste gold on a useless item like Aghanim’s.
Sincerely , A immortal offlane player who fucking hate pos 4 veno with all my heart.
All accounts are new, and they are just running down mid with high-five on lol

I knew this team wasn’t going to pull up trees, but jeez I thought atleast they could get to the qualifiers atleast. OG gets worse and worse by each roster change.
OG went from winning Majors to getting top 5 in LAN, then to not winning Closed qualifiers and now we can’t even make it to Closed qualifiers all in a span of 3 years.
Can’t even beat Tier 3-4 teams anymore and speed running to the same fate as Nigma and Secret in Europe.
From the Ghastly Eyrie I can see to the ends of the world, and from this vantage point I declare with utter certainty that this day a patch will drop!
When killing
Calico: You belong in jail, Calico, but I’ll settle for you in the dirt.
Infernus: Eh, I’ll leave him a tip later.
Kelvin: Kelvin. You’re not ready to fight someone like me.
McGinnis: Those machines didn’t work out like you thought they would, huh?
Paradox: Crawl back to whatever hole you were hiding in, Paradox.
Pocket: You have a trust fund, why are you wasting your time here?
Seven: I came here to kill the Troubadour, but I’ll settle for you.
Warden: Was only a matter of time before I had to put you down, Warden.
Lash: Dick
My match history. There’s one win and 15 losses
Second page of my match history. 4 wins and 12 losses.
Or more accurately I think this game is done with me. 285 hours over 8 months and the only way I can win is when I’m paired up against absolute beginners. I don’t imagine I’m going to have anything like a good time until it increases the player population.
A 15.5% win rate in my last 32 matches. Whatever happened, my team would always lose. Honestly even if I did throw/feed, which I don’t, that seems like it should be a statistical impossibility.
Some of the matches were fun. However, the longer the streak the more frustrating it got. Honestly, my play got worse and worse over time. I could tell my heart wasn’t in it anymore.
I started at Arcanist 1⁄2 and slowly slid my way down to Seeker. On my way down, the rate of smurf accounts kept increasing. Most matches in Seeker have at least two players who are close to doubling the spirit of …
Creating this thread so as to invite blunt discourse on the state of the game. Here are a few of my hot takes to get the ball rolling:
Sinclair and Yamato are VASTLY more problematic when weaponizing blue lanes verticality than is lash. I almost exclusively play lash and never scale the mid tower because it’s inefficient (not to mention lame) as my lack of ranged dps dictates that my teammate will be 1 v 2ing. If you even manage to land such a telegraphed attack, it’ll likely just get you and your lane partner killed.
A handful of characters were absolutely miserable to solo lane as and against; the old map wasn’t terrible but I don’t miss it.
Calico, Yamato, and Bebop in descending order are the most annoying characters to play against. I still respect when an opponent is good at them though.
I’ve seen a good amount of threads recently pointing out that pocket doesn’t scale all that well, and while I won’t make any comments on his …
