🎥 Splattercat Playing Katanaut
🎮 Steam – 45% off!
Hey r/Games, I’m the solo dev behind Katanaut.
It’s a cosmic horror action roguelite set on a massive space station spiraling into chaos, with fast paced combat and a lot of build variety across melee weapons, guns, off-hands, skills, implants, and perks. The easiest pitch is Dead Cells style runs with Katana Zero pacing and Ninja Gaiden resiliency, all with Dead Space atmosphere. It is very momentum driven and lethal, where quick decisions make the difference – but there are also a lot of accessibility options that help you modify the tempo of the game.
Since I last posted, v1.1 brought in a lot of new players, and the addition of global leaderboards has been ridiculously fun to watch and take part in. There are now 7 leaderboards that track things like speedrun times, enemies killed, and currency collected, so there are multiple ways to compete. To raise the stakes, anyone in the top 10 of each leaderboard by the end of …
Wagotabi is an educational RPG that teaches you Japanese from scratch. As you progress through the adventure, English is gradually replaced by Japanese, until almost all content is fully in Japanese. Every aspect of the language, including characters, vocabulary, and grammar, is introduced progressively and always in context, through quests and dialogues to fully immerse you in the language. You will also explore real Japanese towns during your adventure and learn about Japan’s culture and history along the way.
Wagotabi is already available on Steam, iOS and Android. The game is fully cross-platform: you can seamlessly switch between desktop, Steam Deck and mobile while keeping your progress. A free demo is also available on all platforms.
We are also preparing to launch the game on Nintendo Switch in 2026. We know many of you are looking forward to it! As with the other platforms, cloud saves will allow you to keep your progress across all versions, including Switch.

Hi everyone!
We’re making a game about the immigrant experience of going to a new country to work in your uncle’s doner shop. The thing is, you dont know the language of the country you’re going to, so you have to work with the customers to get their orders. Learn the language, manage the shop, socialize and make some wonderful döners!
The game is coming out on April 7th with a %10 launch discount.

I’m a solo dev. For almost 4 years I’ve been building COP BASTARD — a raw, 90s-style action shooter inspired by John Woo films, Takeshi Kitano, and games like F.E.A.R. and Max Payne.
No quests.
No leveling.
No puzzles.
Just tight corridors, heavy gunplay, and brutal firefights where every bullet matters.
You play as a corrupt Osaka cop with nothing left to lose. It’s not about saving the world - it’s about rage and survival.
There’s a free demo on Steam.
If it looks like your kind of thing, please consider wishlisting it really helps a solo dev.
Free demo is up on Steam: Steam page
Happy to answer any questions!
Hi r/pcgaming I’m the solo dev behind Orblins a roguelite take on classic marble-matching games like Zuma and Luxor.
The game is in development for PC and steamdeck. But I would love to have mobile and console ports in the future if the game does well enough.
I hope there are others out there that have some nostalgia from playing those games as a kid, and who enjoys the bite-sized play sessions and replayability that roguelites offer.
I’ll be here to answer questions if there are any!
Use this thread to discuss whatever you’ve been playing lately (old or new, AAA or indie). Don’t just list the names of games as your entire post, make sure to elaborate with your thoughts on the games.
Use spoiler tags if you’re posting anything about a game’s plot that might significantly hurt the experience of others that haven’t played the game yet (no matter how old or new the game is).

Alien Grounds was released free during development to gather player feedback, and it will become paid on April 9.
It’s a fast single-player sci-fi FPS with robot enemies, weird weapons, short replayable runs, and score chasing.
If you want to check it out before the switch, it’s still free to keep until then:

Hey everyone,
We’ve just rolled out a new update for our game Terminal Toilet Simulator, which we’ve been working on for quite a while now.
Previously, we had some serious issues with AI and bugs we’ve managed to fix around 91% of them so far, and the game feels much smoother now.
Here’s what’s new:
We’ve also added some fun easter eggs to discover. Oh, and there are security cameras now sometimes the police shows up to inspect the place… what you do with that is up to you 🙂
We’re still actively developing the game, and if everything goes as planned, we’re aiming for an …
A fellow Raider mentioned he’d like one of these mugs on his desk, a mutual friend absolutely delivered!
After the recent patch, if you press mouse one any time during a reload your gun will shoot as soon as the reload is over.
Adding input buffering would be nice, but should be triggered after one click. You can’t buffer shots after a roll, for instance.
This was a clip I had been working on perfecting for a few days. I had to learn timing and patrols to perfect it and refine some snaphook techniques. Originally captioned “Don’t ask how many tries.” which may not have been the greatest caption so I went with a no caption here.
These sons of bitches are everywhere, hovering between you and your marker. Hovering over extracts. Creeping up mid fights.
THAT IS UNTIL - You specifically kit yourself out to go in and take one out for the quest. Not a single one on the map, and tipping it down terrible view conditions.
I’ll be running around Topside resurrecting the fallen and offering succor to the downtrodden. If your Scrappy needs food I will provide. Peace be with you 🙏
I’m thinking divide your XP from the raid by either 100 or 1,000 and it would add that amount to your bankroll. It might not be much but it’s more than XP does for me now 🤷♂️
Me and my brother (both more than 35 yo) spent the Easter finalizing our Lego project, began more than 1 month ago.
All the Lego are from our collection since we were kids, plus some spare grey parts bought on ebay!
What’s next guys? Matriarch?
