Which of them do you think will be getting this year’s arcana for the major event by April or the following months?
We’ve gotten together many times before and discussed the best and most memorable plays in Dota 2s history. In honor of April Fools Day, let’s invert it and discuss the all time worst misplays in history!
Here’s some memorable misplays to get you started:
My personal choice for the absolute worst play is the KPG Fake GG as calling GG instantly loses you the game. Trying to dial it back does worse to your reputation. Hard to do worse than that.
Lash if he was Ixian or Djinndese
I don’t like them, for the most part. IMO Minions not needing to be last hit has taken away the skill needed to manage your wave and keep track of the minions in order to not lose them, but I can reckon with that change.
I think the bigger problem is that denying souls feels mostly based on latency than anything else. With the randomness of the souls previously, it felt more about who could aim better. I’m not the best at aiming, especially in Deadlock. But previously it didn’t feel like such a reaction time and latency test, as if I’m playing humanbenchmark.
Maybe it’s because the player count is going down, so the skill of players is being distilled (Higher concentration of higher skilled players), but surely I’m not alone in these thoughts
Nothin more other than that. Ive had 9 loses in a row and its a mixture of people doing 1/11/0 losing their lane 8 mins in and then people jungling because they’re behind 400 souls in the beginning which then loses their lane.
Legitimately i dont understand peoples thinking, you get more souls and flex slots from objectives. At this point id almost wish they’d remove jungle (which obviously doesnt make sense in a moba) but its getting ridiculous at this point. They nerfed jungle for a reason.
Edit : i should clarify, im talking about early game before 12 - 15 mins in especially if you’ve lost your guardian. Have one defend walker clear waves, jungle close by while keeping a close eye on the map on your walker while your duo helps another lane.
