Housemarque has crafted a masterpiece in which the dynamism of the gameplay and the controlled chaos that ensues generate an ‘instinctive’ feel that is utterly addictive. It is a work that minimises the gap between intention and action, capable of making us enthusiastic ‘accomplices’ in a magnificent frenzy. If Returnal challenged us with its harshness, Saros invites us to master the storm with a newfound awareness that creeps under your skin in a damn natural way. It is a cohesive, pulsating and utterly dynamic experience that makes everything else seem to move in slow motion. It is the Finnish team’s mature masterpiece: intelligent, brutal and bloody brilliant. Once you’ve entered its …
I’ve noticed this happening in a few games but most recently I watched the Black Flag “Resynced” trailer and the before and after shots had me questioning if this was a complete improvement.

Obviously, the resynced image is prettier to look at and depicts a more realistic world, but this is a game world. Not everything is supposed to be highly detailed. If everything is high detail, then nothing is noticeable. In the image on the left, the ground is very boring. But that boringness creates a easily distinguishable contrast with other things in the game, like the guard, like the climable surfaces, like the floating shanty page.
In the remaster, everything just looks good, to the point that it’s just one big detailed mess. There’s greeblies on the ground, are they important? Is that detailing on the wall/window that I can climb on? Or will it stop me climbing up there?
It’s not limited to this game, nor do I think …
There’s whispered stories in Speranza of a shoreline we left behindNow the tides are bringing it back. Riven Tides launches April 28
Running naked doing trials got hunted by some rats when this funny shiet happened haha. Did i clip into the wall? or this random spot made me invisible? Had to record this, one of my funniest kills xD
As if the Arc weren’t enough to worry about, found this on Spaceport hidden bunker.. was kinda tempted to hit it with my raiding tool a lá Hitman: Absolution. Literally looks like the Manhatten Project.
Edit: Literally Trinity, the first nuclear bomb. My theory is that this is a bomb meant for Speranza, and the Emperors on the sea board are there to ensure we’re boxed in and don’t try to leave via the sea.
Having played since the start and with all the changes to making PvE harder and Wolfpack blueprints need rocketeer components, they should make Wolfpacks available through traders. Make them limited per day like many other items.
Im not some walnut streamer and a work a lot of hours IRL. I come home and play 2ish hours a day to unwind and sometimes the grind gets to me. I’ve done every expedition and don’t mind starting again. Spending a month just trying to find a cool blueprint again along with the materials to make a couple grenades I need to complete a mission sucks and I’m not sure I want to do it again.
I think this skin is fire! , however if you want to use it for PVP it doesn’t blind to your strawnding.
What do you think
