Hi everyone! We’re the team behind Drownlight, a survival-focused, top-down city builder that feels a bit like the wild cousin of Waterworld and Frostpunk.
In Drownlight, you’re building humanity’s last refuge around a lighthouse, fighting to keep the lights on in a flooded, unforgiving world. Choices matter here — every decision carries weight. Sending your fishing fleet into a storm might bring great rewards… or end in disaster, as they’re swallowed by the depths, leaving your colony struggling to survive.
But beware: the ocean isn’t your only enemy. If the lighthouse fails during the night, people start to vanish. Something is watching your city — and it might be even deadlier than any storm.
We’re still deep in development and planning to run a playtest next month! Our Steam page just went live, and we’d love to hear your first impressions, questions, or feedback. Is there anything that catches your eye — or feels like it could use a second look? Any thoughts are super …
Especially that Jugg set, its amazing but he is using a staff and not a sword and looked like Meepo.

DOTA 2 isn’t even a game anymore. it’s a psychological experiment to see how much emotional damage a person can take before they uninstall.
you queue up thinking “maybe this one will be different,” but within 5 minutes you’ve got a slark who loses his lane, comes mid, and dies to level 6 lion at level 3, then follows you around the jungle stealing your farm like he’s cosplaying a creep. next thing you know, your DK and beastmaster are jungling while the base is getting torn apart, and the teamfight you didn’t even start gets pinned on you for not sacrificing yourself to a lost cause.
you try to play smart. try to keep cool. maybe even mute chat and just farm. doesn’t matter. your team still finds a way to implode, flame you, then mass report you because you didn’t dive into the meat grinder with them. behavior score tanks. you get a ban. repeat.
valve’s matchmaking is like “you had a bad game? here, have four more.”

Okay so listen up, and now this is a huge discovery, down in the bottom right of your screen, when youre in a match of Deadlock, there is thing, its called like the “mini map” or something, no idea what that even means but it lets you see where the minion waves are at and lets you see your team and some times even the enemy. Its like really cool device that gives you information that you can use to YES your own advantage.
But wait, thats not all…
On this “mini-map” there are objects all along the lanes called “objectives” theres a couple different ones and they give money when you complete them. And this is truly bizarre but I think they might just help you win the game when you do them also? I dont know its kinda hard to tell and no one else seems to be doing them but they are in fact there.
I think this is huge undiscovered territory for the community. While like 95% of us are always focused on the BIG game objectives like farming, …
