There are more and more PC games that easily exceed 100 GB, and there comes a point where that makes me think twice before downloading them. I’m put off by the storage space it’ll take up, all the download time, the updates… I often feel too lazy to download something so big without even knowing if I’ll like it… I’ve put off trying games like the latest Call of Duty or Red Dead Redemption 2 simply because they’re so massive, even though all the reviews are great. 🤷♂️
It’s Helldivers 2 all over again
At this point I’m convinced they’re clueless.
“…so we fucked the durability on white, green, and blue rarity. 👹”
I’m not even opposed to a 10-20% increase to durability loss on common weapons or something to incentivize maintenance and using higher weapons, but I’m pretty sure the desired answer to “My Epic weapons break too fast” isn’t “ok, everything below Epic now has significantly crappier durability.”
The powered descender can’t save you from falling the full height of Spaceport Towers, so I did a debris ride and jumped off with it when I was low enough to survive the fall. Pretty cool item but I think it needs more stopping power or to last longer.
Also why is it smaller than Buried City?
I can never have fun again ating ARC Raiders. The guns are broken, the new map is mid, the photoelectric cloak nerf makes the game completely unplayable, weapons repairing upon upgrade just allows the rats to kill me more, and the map fixes and tweaks do not help me defeat other players in gun to gun combat.
I have put 791.4 hours into this game, I paid $40 at launch and I feel like the devs just don’t give a single crap about me or my contributions to this game (which include killing over 5000 Raiders). If the devs don’t get their head out of their asses and start making this game more accessible to serious diehard players like me, then I’m gonna have to be forced to only play this game 40 hours a week instead of the 80 I’m putting in now.
Also, I’m a DAD and now I can’t enjoy this game anymore. Anyone else a DAD?
Embark is hell bent on removing all the casual players from this game. Just look at marathon, guys.
