Bubsy 4D tries to modernize, yet still feels stuck in the past. Uninteresting level designs, underwhelming bosses, and a short game overall leave one wanting more.

It’s a love letter to a character whose unlikely comeback was fuelled by irony and Bubsy’s first genuinely great game.
Overall, Bubsy’s return after all these years isn’t a milestone in platform gaming history. It’s certainly great to see an icon from the 90s return for the modern age and Bubsy’s charm, wit and self-awareness (which is either a blessing or a curse depending on your sense of humour) is still in place which grants him a …
tl;DR:
They are finally adding FSR (both 4.0.3 for supported GPUs, otherwise FSR 3.1.5 for other GPUs), DLSS 4.5, and also adding in reduced latency options (NVIDIA Reflex and AMD Anti-Lag 2)
AC Shadows just feels painfully underwhelming. Ubisoft has been on a downward spiral for years now and this game somehow manages to make that even more obvious. I absolutely hated Mirage, but at least Mirage knew what kind of game it wanted to be. Shadows just feels confused. Last truly great Assassin’s Creed for me was Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Odyssey was everything I wanted from modern AC. Massive world, beautiful atmosphere, addictive exploration, naval combat, freedom to approach things however you wanted, and somehow hundreds of hours just disappeared while playing it. And after playing Ghost of Tsushima, Shadows feels even more underwhelming. Tsushima already perfected that cinematic samurai fantasy years ago. The combat felt clean, traversal felt fluid, the world had soul. Shadows constantly feels like it’s chasing that vibe without ever understanding why Tsushima worked in the first place. What hurts even more is how little actual Assassin lore is left now. The older AC games …
I (21F) have been gaming for years, and it’s always been one of my main hobbies. I still *like* games in theory. I watch videos, keep up with releases, and get excited about new ones, but lately I’ve been struggling to actually sit down and play.
I’ll open a game, play for maybe 20-30 minutes, then just lose interest and quit. Sometimes I don’t even launch anything and just scroll instead. It’s weird because nothing is “wrong” with the games themselves.
I’ve tried different genres, both chill and competitive, but it’s kind of the same feeling across the board. Either I get bored quickly or it starts to feel like a chore instead of something fun.
Part of me is wondering if I’ve just burned out, or if this is something other people go through too. I also notice I enjoy games more when I play with friends, but solo gaming has been really hard to stick with.
Is this normal? And if you’ve gone through something similar, what helped you get that enjoyment back?
Not sure how much weight this survey will have, but it’s an official Embark survey so hopefully it makes a difference.
I think I speak for a lot of us when I say that in solos, we’re the most respectful players who bring defibs, take on big Arcs and generally engage with the player base in a positive way.
But when our buddies jump on, we want to run Torrentes on Stella Montis trios and have a good time.
We don’t want to spend 2 hours trying to get back into friendly lobbies so we can enjoy the other side of the game.
I may get downvoted on this sub and be told that if we want to PVP then we should stay in those lobbies - but I do believe a big portion of the player base has TOTALLY different playstyles when solo compared to a group.

I am not saying that they are impossible to reach, but I have been grinding those and have gained about 300k in the last 3 days, and I feel like this is burning me out of the game more than any other grind (and I generally love the grind, I am currently unemployed and it’s great for me that there are things to do in the game), but it’s just that this is too much
I feel like that the sweet spot for the skin would be about 250k-300k
The 1m for the tempest blueprint doesn’t make any sense at all, especially since they completed butchered its value by making it drop constantly in the hurricane catches
When it comes to the ships, I guess that it’s good for those who ran out of time to search for them and want to finish the project, but other than that the prices still don’t make much sense
The concept of bringing duckies in exchange for the compressor is awesome though, I wish we got more variants of that with different required items for different reward …
I worked really hard on making this and spent hours going through several design ideas, making this one Mk7 v.3. I looked at videos of shredders and slowing it down frame by frame to see how they work and looking at the fine details of the shredder model. I used BrickLink studio v.2 to design this. I so just finished making a Lego raider tool so I added it as well!
Note: Many pieces of my build include Lego bricks with colors that do not exist for certain bricks. the eye piece is a glowing neon red 1x2 plate.
I’m thinking about making more Arc threats like the vaporizer and firefly since I haven’t seen anyone make those yet. I’m really proud of how it turned out and I hope everyone likes it.
the GIF took 2 hours and 40 mins to render.
5 Stitchers is 25k total, and it’s way faster than farming Large Arcs.
