Hello all Ectypes (and everyone else)!
We are Hutlihut Games - a small indie studio from Copenhagen, Denmark.
Creators of VOID CREW: a chaotic co-op sci-fi Roguelite for 1- 6 players where you pilot spaceships, repair hull breaches, fight through deep space… and try not to panic.
This week we released our biggest update yet:
Maximum Calamity!
(…and somehow Void Crew also won Best Multiplayer Game at the Unity Awards 2025)
The update adds:
🕳️ Black Holes
🐟 Space Voidfish (…beautiful… dangerous)
🚀 Fleet Battles
💥 New weapons
🤖 Solo improvements
🛠️ Expanded modding support
One thing we’re especially excited about:
We also spent a lot of time expanding modding/UGC support - enabling modders to create new in-game assets, carryables, ship customization spawning and more community creations.
We’re really excited to see what modders and players end up building with it 😄
…and honestly, many more ways for Crews to panic together in deep space.
We also released a …
Hey everyone! Over the last 4.5 years I’ve been working on a modern city builder with 90s/00s aesthetics, inspired by the pixel art simulation games of the 90s and 00s, Cities: Skylines, and Dwarf Fortress. Check out my subreddit for clips!
Features:
The game features granular demand, based on the needs of your citizens. No more “build more commercial zones”. Instead you’ll see the specific demand for each type of business
Individual agent simulation. Agents will have schedules, visit friends, go to work, shop, eat, etc.
Real time traffic, just like Cities: Skylines
You have the option to design your own buildings, save them as blueprints, and share with friends
You can see interior and exterior views of all buildings
All the classic city builder features
Also, I am excited to share the game is now in alpha, and the demo has been updated (last update was about a year ago)!
OpenGL Quad-Buffer Stereo is a legacy stereoscopic 3D format that was almost exclusively for old workstation GPUs like Silicon Graphics, Nvidia Quadro and ATI FireGL.
Some games supported this output, mostly old ID Tech games, such as Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Quake and Star Wars: Jedi Knight II, but support for this 3D output is within the most recent OpenGL 4.6 versions in games like SpaceEngine.
This specific OpenGL wiz3D feature is not a stereo3D injector. It instead just allows OpenGL games with their own existing stereo output to display that on any system or GPU, system and 3D, AR or VR display, instead of being locked behind legacy workstation GPUs.
It should support from OpenGL 1.0 to 4.6
Use this thread to discuss whatever you’ve been playing lately (old or new, AAA or indie). Don’t just list the names of games as your entire post, make sure to elaborate with your thoughts on the games.
Use spoiler tags if you’re posting anything about a game’s plot that might significantly hurt the experience of others that haven’t played the game yet (no matter how old or new the game is).

Right off the bat I just want to say that the game seems genuinely really good, which makes me even more baffled that we have to deal with something like this here. This is the kind of thing that you would expect from some dodgy borderline shovelware slop out there and not something that has potential to be considered a future classic even though for now it seems to be mostly unspoken of.
Anyways, on Epic Games Store there’s not even a single word difference in description of both of the game versions - one of which turns out to be merely a trial (labeled as a “Base Game”) and the other is the actual full game (“Standard Edition”), which sadly seems to me to be intentionally potentially confusing. The word “demo” is not used anywhere a single time even though that’s what the “base game” in practice is. And just that one even though it’s stated for both of them “Play the first 4 missions for free!” On top of …
It’s a horrible feeling to use your key card only to findout some guy came in from the top entrance after snaphooking to the roof and everything has already been looted.
You just threw your key away.
Or you’ll need to crawl to speranza
Edit: 58% upvote ratio 🧐 I only talk about oneshotting it myself with no interaction beforehand
I recently just finished my IRL snap hook and decided to share it here to show you guys! The main body of it is primarily 3D printed and then sanded/painted to make it as close to the one seen in game as possible. All parts that are supposed to be made from metal in the design are either made from aluminium or cast in pewter (Trigger, Handguard, Grapple hook) to ensure it feels as real as possible when held and as looks accurate to the one seen in game. Within the grip I installed a series of metal bars and rods to not only increase its strength but also add to its weight, giving it a heavy, industrial feel. For the warning label and mechanism symbol, I first drew the design on my iPad then used a laser cutter to cut it into a piece of masking tape. This then allowed me to painstakingly apply each tiny part of the stencil to the snap hook before it could be lightly painted on using white spray paint. Once each part of the snap hook was done I then begin assembling it, making sure it …
It’s simply not worth the effort, trying to take it down when the loot is not thaaat useful. You can just find the compressors in couriers during electromagnetic storms which is way more convenient
Loaded into Blue Gate and noticed a couple of flares early on over by Checkpoint. (I’m always in PvE games, so that was kinda unusual) Went to investigate and killed a bastion. This kid was hovering nearby after I destroyed it and was just a being suss and also taking loot he didn’t help down, but whatever that doesn’t bother me. He did take a couple of shots at me after I looted and was running off. Then kept trying to follow me.
I heard him by the last extract a few mins later just calling the lift, then waiting and not leaving. He was pretending to hold it to seem helpful but I had a feeling he was going to try something, so I kinda waited him out while arc was rushing him.
Glad I missed his second 2 shotgun rounds🤣 Just as I thought, a free kit coming in to shoot players in the back. Enjoy this serving!
When I get bored, I try to kill big Arcs using only Ferro. I think this Rocketeer has trained a lot with a sniper.
Spaceport, Nightraid, Warehouse key…
One room. First one I went to, as it was the closest to my spawn. Literally received 1..2…3…4 snaphooks. Has this ever happened to anyone? 4 of a gold or purple anything in ONE room? I had another key as you can see in the pic, but I said f*** it, I’m not risking heading allll the way down to the container storage key just to get killed and lose everything (hence why you see 3 slots still available.
Glitch right? Or just incredibly lucky?
