We started playing dota2 together in 2013, We still played to this day after being broke up for years. We had a special bond but circumstances kept as apart.

I will not go into details but his loss has left me with a lost mind and soul. He was found on March 16 at 9.35. His last game of dota, ended on that day around 6 am. I found about his death too late. He was not responding to me for days and my last message on steam was on the day of his funeral, March 28th and i wrote “i guess you died. oh well”.. I have to carry this with me for the rest of days.

I started playing Dota when TI10 was ongoing and was able to watch the grand final which was amazing and I started to wonder what happens if the mid and safelane needs the items at the same time?

OG is back and they’re setting world records. Fastest win ever, it only took them 41 seconds to make the enemy team forfeit, honestly that’s quite the impressive feat. LETS GO OG!

In a mostly losing effort, I landed this to win us a crucial team fight, which led to us winning the game shortly after. Very satisfying

If you want to say deadlock should get a better anti cheat thats fine but if you genuinely think every time you win or lose a game depends on which team has a cheater you are focusing on the wrong things

This sub depresses me every time I open it because of all the complaints, and I want to spread positivity.

I’m still pretty young but have lived through many launches of tac shooters, mobas, hero shooters, fighting games, etc. Not a single one of those games has ever captivated me as much as deadlock has. It tickles my brain in a way no other game has ever done. This game is so special.

There’s a reason why this game has such a passionate small community of content creators. All the fanart, Fight Nights, youtube videos, etc., ppl enjoy this game. I know there’s a lot more people in this sub with a more positive outlook and wanted to spread that message.

Although I am having a lot of fun, Deadlock is def not immune to criticism. It’s still in early development after all. If you’re passionately complaining about the game make sure the devs know in the forums.

I never played league, but I know of the addiction that comes with it. For a long time since EA launch, I’ve felt that for Deadlock. Everything was smooth and fun, and the movement was so unique that I’ve been hooked since downloading. That is until now.

For me, it’s a combination of the decreased player base, increased toxicity (mainly with people griefing and just doing whatever they want rather than working as a team to accomplish the objectives or get kills), and the server issues.

Today, I finally hit that breaking point. Back-to-back-to-back games where I did reasonably well but had 1 teammate who from the get-go, began griefing and throwing the game. Sure, they’d get a handful of kills only to feed and die twice the amount of times. They’d either complain about the lane they were in and just begin switching wherever they wanted or just go dark on comms. That mixed with so many ping issues (not my internet, its definitely server side for me), and …

But seriously I started freaking out when I saw it because I thought it would let me buy it. Thankfully it didn’t but Volvo pls fix :)
