This is a fairly long review for a decade-old game, but then, the game has captured my attention in a way few games ever did, which I can discuss if you guys are interested. Anyway, thanks for taking your time in reading this piece. Here we go:
I Don’t Even Like This Genre
I’ll be honest—I don’t even like tactics games or roguelites. Never did. The turn-based thing always felt too rigid. Too slow. Like I was solving a math problem instead of playing. And roguelites? That endless cycle of dying and starting over with slight variations? It felt like padding—artificial difficulty designed to stretch twenty minutes of actual content into twenty hours of repetitive gameplay.
I’m the kind of person who usually leans toward cinematic stories, tight stealth systems, or moment-to-moment improvisation—Mafia 2, Max Payne 3, Alien Isolation, Splinter Cell, Bloodborne, Sekiro, that sort of thing. Games that either grip you with character, tension, or let you feel every …

Some comebacks just don’t work. A review by a die-hard Commandos fan confirms that most old-school players will be happy with the new game. But perhaps a little uncritical.
Shacknews - Sam Chandler - 9 / 10
Claymore Game Studios realized what made the original Commandos games so great, retained the heart and soul, and sanded off all the prickly edges. Commandos: Origins is a love letter to the originals in everything it does.

I think it’s GGs on Titanfall

Looking for the game that genuinely scared you so much it left you shaking, maybe even too frightened to boot it up to continue where you left off the next day.
For me that game was System Shock 2 when it debuted. Nothing else has ever come close.

Hi r/DotA2
Just another nobody who, after achieving my personal dota2 goal, had some thoughts.
3k games. 3.5 years. Herald 5 -> Immortal
I’ll avoid the generic crap like map awareness, lane equilibrium, specifics that everyone regurgitates to everyone else. You learn alot those by osmosis as you witness and partake in them (if you’re observant enough!)
Attention to detail and efficiency across the board
Here me out - You’re Legend 3 spectating your Crusader 1 buddy. You tell him he should pull the wave onto the ranged creep. He tells you ‘I do that’ and he truly believes that he is ticking that box and its done. But theres level to this!
Almost no metric in the game is a tick box. They are ALL sliding scales. You think you make stacks? Well.. you could’ve made 6 more that match at literally no cost, you were just auto piloting straight past a camp at :52-55.
Its a long winded way to just say, there is always more last hits, more denies, more …
But once it is over, once the game ends, I realize that an hour has passed by, and now I feel like shit. How can an hour go by so fast, and just like that?
I go outside and take a fresh breathe of air. Standing outside for minutes feels so long.. I just want to go back inside and play some Dota. Okay, now I am back inside my room but I am still not feeling happy because the thought of me queuing up again and wasting another hour makes me feel bad.
But I still queue up again anyways.
I feel great when the game starts, I feel like shit once its over. Rinse and repeat. Please help me.
After winning the lane for your ally, extend your lead by jungling and helping other lanes. Type gg at minute 8 because you know the enemy has no chance from here on. Legend bracket here I come!
Look at this donkey build Linepro updated yesterday. No orange items in lane on Holliday?
Slop. He does this on almost EVERY character. And Why would Linepro lead new players astray with slop?
To drive engagement for his Marvel Rivals stream. He doesn’t even play the game.
In case you didn’t know, Zephyrs are little critters that power the airships, and they’re also what’s tattooed on Lash’s arms!
some custom cards i made using mtgnexus
probably not totally balanced
The character is strong enough without even landing a single bullet all game—she really doesn’t need this insane gun dps, especially with it being an automatic shotgun that makes it easy as hell to proc every possible item and secure souls
