A subsidiary of LEGO runs a programme for adult LEGO fun designers (yes, “adult” and “LEGO” in the same sentence).

I made this diorama of Amsterdam. Any thoughts?

Also, this is not my job, just a hobby, but if someone is interested in getting such a model (e.g. for exhibition in their shop) we can arrange something. I’d love to see my diorama exposed somewhere.

I saw sometimes this “WhatsApp Buurtpreventie” sign in my new neighborhood, but there is no information on how to reach the group. Is that a place to register or something like that?

Im having a real problem with people who don’t seem to care that they are hogging the whole sidewalk and act as though they refuse to go single file so others can pass safely without having to step into the bike lane. Trust me, your friend, lover or group will be ok without you being right next to them for just a second or two. Im getting to where I just walk right between them and could care less about any comments they may have.

so the albert heijn on my way home is closed for renovations, so i need to go to my second most convenient option whenever i want to get something on my way home directly from school. that place is a jumbo. (could someone guess where i am from based on this information?)

anyway, i began going there but first of all, i just feel like such a stranger to the store. the albert heijn and lidl fanboy in me cringes at the sheer feeling of alienation from this store. it hasn’t gotten better over the several times i’ve visited it.

but what surprised me the most was that nothing was cheap. like, nothing! i had the idea that albert heijn was meant to be the expensive store, and that jumbo was more of a mid-way point between lidl and albert heijn, but i genuinely find myself paying more for the things i buy at jumbo when compared to the albert heijn. it’s bad to the point where i’m kinda circling around the store like “what is even worth buying in here?” …

I absolutely LOVED being here- it was so magical! The sights, the sounds, the eco-consciousness, the food, the accessibility and mindfulness of mobility needs, the people, all of it! Dank je wel voor alles! I hope to go back some day soon 🥹❤️🌞🇳🇱✨
