I’ve played so many moba games from different platforms but i gotta say the amount of creativity they used to design this hero is unmatched, The way his unique spells complete each other and you can combine them to make hundreds of different combos and play styles is mind blowing . And what’s more mind blowing is the fact that he was released about 23 years ago!

I’ve looked through so many MOBA games to find a hero like him but there was absolutely nothing.

Best thing i could find was Hwei from League of legends but compared to invoker he doesn’t even come close in any term.

he had never heard of the game and i convinced him to give it a try and invited him. i spent like multiple hours explaining how everything works in chat (i used AI to translate) and he got super hooked. it helped his stream, too. when i started the stream with LoL it was just me and his mod watching. but once he switched to deadlock, he was fluctuating between 3 and 7 viewers. it was super entertaining to watch him learn the game, even though i don’t speak japanese so i couldn’t understand most things.

i thought everyone knew about this game, but i guess since it’s technically still in beta it’s not as popular as i thought. this means that there’s still potential for the playerbase to grow a lot once it fully releases and has some marketing.

how popular do you guys think this game will be once it fully releases? how many players?

I’ve been taking a short break from Deadlock to refresh myself for the next content patch but good Lord playing other shooters now feels so… bland. Like the lack of movement, mechanics, hero variety, etc just has me feeling chronically under stimulated. Might have to come back prematurely, especially after the latest Silver changes.

But at least Valheim 1.0 has been GOATED.
