Added visual intelligence for tripple tap & search image for double tap
Surprisingly it didnt create any records of photos & screenshots in my phone. So no worries about the dump.
Has anyone already made it? Or any suggestion improving this on this ?
Is there any shortcut to copy the playlist from Spotify to Apple Music? (I tried with some pages but they have a 200, or 500 songs limit)
So Iām not a regular user on here, but I just wanted to find somewhere to post this for a tutorial for another subreddit. First click on the ā+ā symbol. This will start a new shortcut for you to use. Click on open app, and then once your shortcut is created, click on āApp.ā Now you can choose whichever app you want to decorate and change the photo or name of your choice. Once itās added, you can click on the icon to the top right, and then at home screen where you can change the name and the photo. I think this only works on the later models Iām on my IPad 10th Gen for this, but Iām able to do it on my IPhone 14 as well.
Iām trying to turn an old iPhone 7 Plus into a time lapse camera that can record the growth of my wifeās plants in time lapse video.
The goal is to set up the iPhone on a tripod for about 100 days or three months and let it take 3 to 4 photographs a day (every six hours) to later assemble into a time lapse video
I have been struggling with automation and the wait limits that are only in seconds. And the compulsory notification acknowledgments.
I am trying now to integrate the āJust Timersā app into the equation. But not very lucky so far.
So is there anybody that can help me figure out a way to make my old iPhone take pictures at an interval of about six hours for the next 90 days?
I want to record the growth of the sunflowers we planted.
Fellow automation enthusiasts! š
You know that moment when you’re browsing on your iPhone, find something interesting, and think “I should save this for later”?
As a developer, this happened to me constantly. Cool GitHub repos, tech articles, code snippets… I tried everything:
- Safari Reading List? Forgotten.
- Bookmarks? Forgotten.
- Notes app? A chaotic mess, Forgotten!.
So I built a Shortcut that solved this once and for all.
What it does:
- Works from ANY app’s share sheet
- Sends ANYTHING (links, text, images) directly to ClickUp
- Takes literally ONE tap
- Works on both iPhone and Mac
- Adds a quick task name (optional)
- Supports custom fields (if you want to get fancy)
The magic isn’t just in the capture - it’s in the workflow:

Hello r/shortcuts. about 5 years ago I posted about a little side project I had been working on called Deeplink. it was mostly just a little convince app for myself to send URLs via shortcuts to the Apple TV that tvOS could then open. a while ago I decided to rewrite the entire thing in swiftUI so that it could be a universal app across tvOS, iOS, iPadOS visionOS and macOS. the new version brings widgets and shortcut actions, as well as support for top row favorites on tvOS. While this new approach is designed around the use of iCloud, the legacy local web server continues to be supported, but no longer needed in favor or a more streamlined and user friendly flow.
the new version - 0.0.4 just went out over test flight so if you were already signed up you should be getting access to it soon if you don’t already have it.
if you would like to sign up please use the attached link, or jump directly to TestFlight.

I used to listen to every episode of radiolab but at some I feel like they stopped being very scientific. Maybe it’s just me. Anyone else feel the same? What went wrong?
Iāve found that I follow technical podcasts and like them at first. Then after many episodes, I get kind of disgusted at certain things like the āintro musicā that never shortens or changes as if it is just a brilliant as when the cast began. Then the personality of the host begins to weigh far too heavy (I sense when they are actually creepy as the layers of their personality are revealed, I become repulsed by their breathing into the mic, etc.) At this point I cut the connection and move on. It seems is the usual process. Curious if this seems weird or logical.
After around two months with no updates not counting a delay announcement, Have a Listen to This uploaded a short 2 minute message that they would stop the podcast, as they cannot get back into the rhythm.
HALTT was a lighthearted podcast that emerged from a fun Magic: The Gathering themed podcasts started in 2019 that was then succeeded by the general themed one, when one of the two hosts moved back to Australia with the other sitting in Ireland. It was basically just two friends talking about all kind of things, giving life updates and self-indulging in inside jokes, sometimes from all the way back in the magic days.
For somebody just listening to some episode, it probably wasn’t very good. Random, disconnected, sometimes funny, sometimes less so, sometimes serious. But they always had great chemistry, as the podcast was always intended as two friends at different ends of the world catching up.
But for me, it was weekly soul food. I started listening during the pandemic when ā¦
So I fell into this rabbit hole last night with a video called *āWhatās A Podcast?ā*āand wow, I had no idea how scrappy podcastingās beginnings were.
Turns out it started with people like Leo Laporte and Adam Carolla just trying to get around traditional media, literally wiring up mics in their garages and sharing episodes through hacked RSS feeds. No monetization, no format, just vibes.
Ira Glass even pops in to talk about how public radio shaped the style of storytelling a lot of us love today.
Hereās the doc if youāre curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-WX-bRNtsE
Just want to recommend this podcast. Just finished it and it is exceptional, strong contender for my favourite ever. Incredible story telling, narrative development, audio design - all of it. Kept me engaged, made me think differently about a lot of things. Really miss this one.
Enjoy.
Hi, have seen few documentaries And would like to.know more about cults, preferably even lesser known
I’v listened So far only to Last Podcast on the left, which I enjoy a lot
Thanks fór any TIPS!
Everyone has that one bookāthe one that made you fall in love with stories, characters, and turning pages late into the night. What was it for you? Iād love to know thatš¤
I want to be generally worse at problem solving from now on.
I need a book that can change my way of seeing the world. I want something sentimental and philosophical (that’s not very important but If it can be like that, better). I’m not really into fantasy, but rather something more mundane, something that isn’t about mental health or anything like that, but rather a story. Classics are fine too.
Hello there friends! I’m a librarian and I need a hand with some recommendations. I have a patron who has a VERY specific criteria for books on CD that she listens too because she’s legally blind and can’t pick things for herself, it’s up to me to do so however I’m at a point where I’m running out of ideas without having to sit and listen to each of the audiobooks I give this patron each week.
Her criteria that I’ve got so far:
- preferred pioneer fiction so like “little house on the prairie” and “Anne of Green gables” Era but she can be a little flexible so long as it’s not like war time
- No Cussing, I made the mistake of giving her a book by Rainbow Rowell a few weeks ago because the description sounded wholesome and this woman threw a fit to my boss about it because of the cussing (Woops)
- she’s very Christian so she can handle about as much spice as a vanilla ice cream cone. so it’s got to be ā¦
Not looking for bestsellersāI’m talking about the book you read and thought, why isnāt everyone yelling about this?! Hidden gems, debut authors, overlooked older worksādrop them all below!
Iām looking for horror (and maybe mystery/thriller) books that left a lasting impression and sometimes come back to haunt you. My only requirements are no Stephen King (bless him but Iāve never been a huge fan). TYIA
Looking for stuff that feels like youāre spending a bunch of time prepping equipment, routes, and strategy before embarking on really dangerous journeys/missions. Iām thinking stuff like Darkest Dungeon, xcom, or even Minecraft where you bring a bunch of supplies before going on a long mining trip.
A lot of Sonic games are really rough but their soundtracks are so worth it.
I’ve been thinking a lot about how The Sims doesn’t really have competitors in the Life Sim genre, or Pokemon in creature collection. This is compared to genres like Roguelike, farming sims, FPS games which have many good titles under it. Even Sid Meier’s Civilization has good challengers (Humankind, Endless Legend, etc.) in the 4X genre.
What other games do you think are unchallenged in their genre or what genres do you think could use a little more variety and competition? Why do you think there’s little competition there compared to others?
So Iāve been reading a ton of Warhammer books lately and itās got me wanting a certain kind of game and Iām not sure if it exists? I have a few factors Iām looking for in any combination:
Any ideas? May be very specific, but thatās why Iām posting here for advice I suppose š¤š¼
Any ideas?
Edit: possibly the most responses Iāve ever had to a post lmao there is some great stuff in here, and Iāll read every suggestion! Already added a few to my steam wishlist off the back of this
y’know, a videogame where the first enemy is a random ass zombie and you gotta beat it with a stick, and finish the game defeating a high entity with a crazy as armor and weaponry, such as terraria.
It can be old/new whatever, iām just tryna hear what some of the great games youāve played recently have been.
Personally I think KCD2 is easily some of the most fun iāve had Gaming in the last few years. Not many games in recent time have had me so immersed from start to finish, it genuinely felt like the first time I ever played Skyrim.
