I have a bad habit of crashing before setting my alarms. My wife was getting fed up of setting them. So I created this shortcut.
You’ll need to create an automation to trigger this shortcut every time you receive a text from whoever you want to allow to set alarms.
The text should follow the format: “Set alarm 8:00”
It will then set 4 alarms starting from 15 minutes before 8pm at 5 minute intervals.
So 8:00pm for example will set alarms for
7:45, 7:50, 7:55, 8:00.
Hope people find this useful!

If you want to use double tap to behave differently based on the active app. You can just use IF statements like this to active the right shortcut in the right app.

I built two shortcuts to stock monitoring for Zara. One of them adds products to a reminder from Share Menu that I created to store WishList products. And one of them is basically request to zara api to check if there is a stock for zara products and adds flag to reminder if there is a stock. I am not sure it can works with all products because there is a store id in the url that I don’t know if it is all same for all products:) But it is works for most products.
Here is the shortcuts:

A quote from a post made by Lex on LinkedIn:
“The amount of disrespect President Zelenskyy showed to Donald Trump and the American people today was insane.”
Pretty obviously trying to keep his powerful friends happy so they keep throwing him scraps of attention and money.
What’s a must-listen podcast that you recommend to everyone?
There’s a new show called “The Know Rogan Experience” with Cecil Cicarelli and Michael Marshall, both of whom are part of the whole Scathing Atheist / God Awful Movies / Citation Needed universe of shows, and I’m sure some others I’m missing.
Now, I hate JRE so much I’ve never been able to listen to more than 10-15 minutes of one of his shows, but I criticize him all the time. That’s what the show is about - actually listening to Rogan & his guests to uncover what is going on. The podcasters listen so you don’t have to, but they do play portions on the show. “A show where two podcasters with no previous Rogan experience get to know Joe Rogan.”
It’s really good.
My contender is The Know Rogan Experience.
Joe Rogan’s podcasts, as entertaining as it is, gives a lot of airtime to pseudoscience and intellectually dishonest people. It usually results in a gish gallop of nonsense. The Know Rogan Experience breaks down a lot of the weird and wild claims, everything taken out of context or intentionally misleading.
Give me some different recommendations. Looking for anything recent.
What’s the best true crime podcast you’ve ever listened to, and what made it stand out?
You know that feeling when a book is so good you ignore responsibilities, stay up way too late, and think about it even when you’re not reading? That’s what I’m looking for. Any genre is fine, I just want something that consumes me.
What’s the last book that did that for you?
I’ve been reading and writing since I was a kid. Unfortunately, I have slowed down a lot on reading over the years. I could once read a big book in less than 3 days and several books in a month, but nowadays work, marriage and other distractions get in the way and it’s often hard to balance all hobbies and interests. I have never, however, stopped writing. I write every day.
I’m trying to get back into a reading habit beyond comic books, but I’m particularly interested in books that will inspire my writing. I’m often interested in writing that flows poetically but doesn’t come off purple prose-y or forced.
What are some of the most beautifully written books you’ve ever read?
Some quotes hit so hard they never leave you. Maybe it was one that made you pause, changed your perspective, or just stuck for no reason at all.
For me, it’s “Sometimes we get so caught up in our own stories that we forget we’re part of someone else’s.” from The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. That line just stayed with me.
What’s yours? And why?
I saw the thread suggesting dystopian books which I’ll consider, but I would also like some fiction options that completely take me out of this chaos bc it’s consuming me and I only have books that will add fire to my rage currently. Give me some escapism recommendations please!
Not many books made me feel that way, but recently Shadows of The Wind and Little Life did. Looking forwards to hear your recommendations of books that made you feel like you lived a life.
Just games set in a fictional/fantasy world where you don’t play as the chosen one, or the savior or whatever, just someone living their life. Preferably an RPG with a character creator, also not necessarily looking for sandbox games like Kenshi or Mount and Blade (not opposed to them either), I don’t mind if there is a story or questline, as long as it’s not some grand epic.
The best example I can think of is the Origins in DAO, easily my favorite part of that game are the self contained slice of life stories that your character starts off with before becoming the hero of Ferelden, are there any games that give off those vibes for the entire game instead of just the start?
EDIT: Okay, I feel like I wasn’t clear enough with what I’m looking for because I have people suggesting games like Oblivion, TW3 and even The Legend of Zelda. When I say I don’t want to play the chosen one, I don’t just mean playing as a character that isn’t …
What are the hardest games you have ever played? I am beating any game that is suggested and documenting my journey
[tring to beat TMNT on NES](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ykja36wa3Vk)
im gonna keep posting and trying, thank you all for the suggestions!
Can by any game. Any genre. Any kind of thinking. I just want to be forced to think.
I quite don’t know how to describe it but I want a shooter game that is fast paced yet methodical
Something like between the fast pace of doom yet tactical and methodical like ready or not, checking corners, tactical accuracy, yet need to keep constantly moving
First person or third person doesn’t matter
Hi everyone!
I recently took it upon myself to play over 100 demos of upcoming games listed in the Steam Next Fest page, IGN Fan Fest page, and other demos I saw in the Steam demo page for unreleased games. I did this mainly because I wanted to find some of the most promising upcoming games to play, but also because I wanted to dig through the demos and curate a great list as much as possible to then share it. This list isn’t exhaustive of everything I played. Some of these may seem obvious to you, but they may not be to others, so keep that in mind. Also, I tried to avoid including AAA games with demos. Here we go:
* HASTE: Broken Worlds - https://store.steampowered.com/app/1796470/HASTE_Broken_Worlds/
Great movement mechanics and feeling. This is honestly how I would imagine 3D Sonic games would feel by now.
* Haneda Girl - https://store.steampowered.com/app/3169790/Haneda_Girl/
Stealth and platforming action game.
* Starless Abyss - …
And not just games where you’re TECHNICALLY not a humanoid.
I don’t want vehicles or mechs or other things that are technically not humanoids but still things controlled by humans, and by extension still follow human restrictions, just in a different way.
Simply put, most every game where you control a character has that character look and act like a normal person. And I’m bored of that. I want a UNIQUE experience.
Sure, it might be a blue skinned person that runs very fast, but really, it’s still just a person. It might be a big mech, but still moving with legs and shooting with arms. It might be a dude in a suit swinging around on webs, but it’s still just a dude. I want none of that.
I want games where my character does not follow the same rules as humans. In particular I don’t want to follow the same restrictions that humans have. For example in Stray you can’t open doors, so you need to either call someone to open the door, or find a …
