This shortcut creates a playlist filled with clean versions of songs from a playlist you choose. It takes any explicit songs in the playlist and finds clean versions and adds them to a new playlist.
This could be useful for parents with little ones, Uber drivers, or anyone who could use this utility.

Please feel free to comment or dm any suggestions or questions. This is my first shared shortcut so please take it easy 🥴.
Hi Everyone,
I’m new to shortcuts and have made some to try and reduce procrastination (ironically, I’ve procrastinated hard while doing this).
I thought I’d put them on here in case a) people can recommend improvements, and importantly b) if it helps others.
Currently, my shortcuts check my calendar in case I’m on holiday or it’s a weekend, and if not, automatically greyscale my screen during business hours. I’ll have break times when I can access the internet and various apps, but otherwise, my phone kicks me out of those apps. My home office also has a Philips Hue light, so this will also cause the light to dim until I put my phone back on it’s charging pad. This has really cut down the amount of time I’ve spent goofing off.
Finally, sometimes I’ll need the internet in an emergency, so there’s a button to press to deactivate the system for 5 minutes.
I know there are apps that can do something similar, I’ve really found the Freedom app to be amazing, but it’s not perfect, e.g. …
Hello, new Shortcuts user here. I’m trying to get an automation going with an NFC tag I have on my bike so that I can text my boyfriend when I’m on my way home. The only problem is, every time I choose ‘cycling’, there is an error message. If I choose walking or driving it’s totally fine. Does anyone have a similar problem or know how to fix it? Cheers :)
iOS 16 no longer recognizes any individual note as text/rich text, but as a “File”. Allow files as input for your shortcut if it no longer shows up in the Notes share sheet.
Additionally, the shortcut will not parse more than 3 lines of any note without turning on Settings -> Shortcuts -> Advanced -> Allow Sharing Large Amounts of Data.
Hope this saves someone the 20 minutes of frustration I had with this.
I know if you start a swimming workout the Apple Watch automatically goes into Water Lock.
But is there a way to have direct control of the Apple Watch sensors?
If water is detected, turn Water Lock on.
If heart rate + temperature outside are high (together) notify me to cool down (if jogging at 50°C
Etc…
I have to drive eight hours on Wednesday to visit my family for Thanksgiving, and my husband will be sleeping after coming off an overnight. I find that getting into a good podcast makes the time fly. I’d love some suggestions, if anyone has any!
For reference, these are some of the the podcasts (not an exhaustive list) I listen to/have listened to and are caught up on/have enjoyed:
Last Podcast on the Left Lost in Panama Invisible Choir Obscura My Dad Wrote a Porno Behind the Bastards Tanis The Clearing The Black Tapes Hunting Warhead
I don’t love My Favorite Murder (they spend the majority of every episode talking about themselves, and I find it off putting/not interesting) and I don’t listen to Sword and Scale because the host is a far right whiner who brings it into the podcast too much.
Edit: Damn, y’all are coming THROUGH with the goods! Thank you all so much (and feel free to keep them coming!), this will tide me over for the drive back as well!
If you don’t know about it, it’s a pod about Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2. It will be released every thanksgiving until the hosts literally die.
They are forcing themselves to watch this awful movie every year and spiral into despair and misery (just like Paul Blart life).
It’s hosted by the McElroy Brothers and Guy Montgomery and Tim Batt (from The Worst idea of all time).
It started in 2015 and if you listen to it back to back, you can notice how they are slowly going insane. It’s hilarious.
I listened to the story of Elizabeth Holmes and it was fascinating. Any recs for other good, juicy podcast stories like hers involving true crime, deception, etc. preferably with multiple episodes
I really really like the show scamfluencers. I just find the premise of learning about all the different scammers and what drove them to want to commit these crimes really interesting.
Im new to listening podcasts, and i would love some comedy podcast suggestions. Especially the ones in the style of the talk radio in grand theft auto games, i love those ones. I did saw some ones online, and like some ones like podcast town, duncan trussels family hour and the phil hendrie show. I need ones in english or hindi only. Any help will be appreciated.
Last summer my boyfriend and I listened to a podcast on Spotify that we’re trying to find again and can’t. Can you help us find the musical riddle podcast?
Each episode was a musical riddle: there was a phrase or idea that the five or six songs in the episode clued you in to. The host had a real voice for radio and was pretty funny. In between each song he’d riff a little and talk with a cohost about the songs.
It was a real slick integration: each song linked out on Spotify to the artist’s page and then brought you back to the podcast when it was done. I can’t find anything googling terms like ‘music puzzle riddle podcast’ and I’m wondering if maybe it was wiped for some copyright thing?
If you figured out the puzzle you could submit it online for a possible prize. Also, I think it was new last summer as they only had one season.
Help, does anyone know what podcast this was?
Looking to take a trip down memory lane. What kids/YA books did you read in school and for leisure in the 90s? Or if you had children, siblings, etc who were that age then, what were they reading?
The only examples I can think of are House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski and Destroy all Monsters by Jeff Jackson. I think it’s interesting that the physical format of these aren’t really compatible with ebooks.
Of course, any book can be read digitally, but I’m looking for books where the physical format enhances the experience in a way that you almost need to read it physically. I’m open to any type of book, fiction, nonfiction, poetry, etc. Thanks in advance!
Are there any non-fiction titles that really stand out to you? This could be anything from something almost like a text book to a biography/autobiography, philosophy, self help, informational, history, art, photography, etc etc. I just like learning about things in this universe, rather than a fictional universe. What are some non-fiction reads that you all highly recommend?
Edit: Thank you all for the recommendations!! I did not expect such a response, so I appreciate this awesome list of books to check out! I have a lot of reading to do lol
I’m watching the Star-Wars series Andor at the moment and am loving the storytelling about a seedy guy who is just trying to live his life.
I tried reading the “black company”-books but I couldn’t get into the staccato writing style that jumps around a lot unfortunately. So something slower/more detailed is a plus!
Thank you!
Usually books are written by the young/teen point of view so I’m looking for something with a elderly point of view for a change. Thank you!
I work 12 hour night shifts so my food options are: fast food, or sad sad packed lunches. I want to upgrade my packed lunch (and supper) game! I was thinking, there should be a cookbook for food that’s good to take as a cold lunch to work for all of us who are tired of having a ham sandwich for the 173rd day in a row. Does something like that exist?
Looking for high quality nsfw games that aren’t just visual novels. Any suggestion is fine I guess.
I’ve played Hunie Pop and Subverse previously.
Hi people. I always try to do a ‘hidden gem’ suggestion thread during the bigger sales. Im a big fan of indie games, and always look for under-reviewed games that deserve a second look. This table is all automated based on the list of games I maintain, so let me know if theres more info that would be good to see in it.

Hi, so I’ve just completed Doki Doki Literature Club and it was probably one of the best games I played in a really long time. I really want more.
I’ve played several games with the fourth wall-breaking to some extent. DDLC, Undertale, The Stanley Parable, When the Darkness Comes and Superhot are games that I enjoyed really much.
Do you have any recommendations for such games? Also, shorter games are preferred. Doki Doki was ideal in its length in my opinion. And please, without spoilers of course. Thanks!
Edit: Thank you all for these amazing suggestions!
So long story short. She’s paralised on her right side (arm and leg) but would love to play some video games. Anything she could play with only her left hand? Doesn’t matter what game of console.
I loved A Short Hike! I loved the retro, graphics. It reminded me of older animal crossing games.
I would love a game with pixelated graphics, I’m not sure why, but pixel graphics are almost always pleasant to look at.
Something you can replay.
Something story based or smaller open world (but not necessary.
