Hey Siri… who will wash the dishes today?
Is this possible?
I’ve tried “handover” but it doesn’t work.
Thanks
Not sure if this has been posted before or not but it is something I use to quickly cancel subscriptions immediately after, so that I don’t forget.
Hi everyone, I noticed that everyone keeps sharing similar shortcuts but there is no step by step detailed video to set this up, and this video my friend shared with me helped a lot with how to setup free api key you create and have a shortcut to chat with ChatGPT basically.
IOS shortcut with ChatGPT and how to steps
I highly recommend checking video for more details before setting up but here is their shortcut they shared there…
Here is the shortcut, https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/cb3b321c70fa416a9f006b1a4ec49c49
ChatGPT is Very helpful tool to get help when I need some ideas, topics, email rephrase, summary, speech notes ..etc
My problem was not always having my computer to use ChatGPT. And I was hoping I can use my Siri to be ChatGPT
Turned out we can have our own shortcut and even Siri can connect ChatGPT by itself with an api key which is free. I was about to buy one of those 3rd party apps this saved my day!
I had problems with steps, how to get api key or insert ..etc …
Took inspiration from a guy i saw automate nice texts to his wife. Every Monday morning, my phone will auto text my Girlfriend a random General Iroh quote from my list. Everyone could use some Monday Iroh wisdom.
A lot of podcasts are now locking full episodes behind paywalls, then you have to subscribe to their substack or something to get a feed with full episodes.
While I totally understand that, I cant afford to pay 5 bucks a month if I want to support all 8 or 10 podcasts I like. On top of that, a lot of them only offer the full subscriptions tier, where you get the substack and all that, but all I want is the podcast feed, there should be a cheaper option for only that.
I know lot of these podcasts have tens of thousands of supporters. Even if they charged a dollar per month, is tens of thousands of dollars a month not enough to support a podcast? I feel like $5/month is really steep for a popular podcast with a lot of paid listeners.
I dont know the answer here, they deserve to monetize their work, but its not like a streaming service where you pay and get access to a lot of shows and movies, you’re only getting one single podcast. $5/month adds up really fast.
What are your …
I’m looking for some kind of podcast that tells smutty stories. I have never read anything along these lines so I don’t have any starting point, but I’m imagining something smuttier (and younger audience-appealing) than 50 shades of grey. Otherwise like a true story anonymous confessional type of podcast?
My dream smutty podcast would be like a desperate housewives neighbourhood story-telling type With emotional connections and affairs, not strictly straight content etc.
Once again I really don’t know, I’m curious. Would really like to avoid anything cringey 😊
This is so cool. If any of you follow the Luminary podcast series, the best podcast on there is Yasiin Bey (Mos Def), Talib Kweli and Dave Chapelle’s “The Midnight Miracle”
At the end of the last season, Yasiin and Talib were complaining about how little money artists were making from Spotify streams and that it was a problem for the whole industry. So, they decided to release the LONG anticipated new Black Star album as a podcast series behind the subscription paywall rather than on Spotify!
Not only is the album freaking briliant, its a really cool way to release an album.
Hi everyone, spent much too long looking for this podcast episode, even ChatGPT couldn’t crack the case.
I thought this may be an episode from the ‘Reply All’ podcast but can’t find any matches in their episode catalogue.
From memory the episode includes a reward for the person who can catch the guy (I think he was an author or journalist) and he goes ‘on the run’ for the month. The internet sleuths make a site to collect and share clues.
Any help appreciated, have reached the limits of my Google-fu. Thanks!

I am looking to get in the podcast game. And I wanted to start with a podcast about modern history. Preferably something about the last 25 years or something, and i am not really interested in conspiracy theories. Just someone who explains what happened and what the effects are.
Now, I genuily don’t know how to frase this in a good way, I think it might be a weird thing to ask for but, I’m reading this book right now, it is When I Sing Mountains Dance by Irene Sola, (the portuguese translation), and I’m really loving it. It is about mountains, rain and dead witches, it’s about the death and life cycle and grief, nature and the writing is very lyrical and poetic. So now I just want a sensuous, luscious book with women having rituals in forests or chanting/sharing ancient knowledge, something that speaks of something older and wilder. I don’t really like romance subplots, but make it wlw then if I must. Either just fiction or fantasy (if it includes consensual sex magic and rituals even better)
As a 30F, the books I pick up about women in my demographic always seem to concern themes like finding a partner, making babies and fear of ageing. These can be very triggering for me.
Reddit, suggest me a (well-written) book about a woman living a remarkable life which doesn’t look like the norm?
I spend a lot of time commuting and have hit a dry spell on podcasts. I’ve been reading a lot of self-help books, but need a break, preferably into some fiction. Audiobooks seem to work best.
I’m a depressed, anxious dad of two pretty great elementary age kids. I don’t really have many interests, friends or support structure, and feel pretty lonely. My family is all NC at this point.
I’m also really angry at myself for bad choices in the past that have put me in a spot with a lot of “crosses to bear”, including living in a place that I feel super uncomfortable in (but which is a great place to raise my kids).
I’m atheist after breaking away from devout Mormonism 5+ years ago, so religious stuff is gonna be a no for me.
I guess I’m looking for a book that might help me feel hope, or at least like someone has been in my shoes and turned out okay.
I recently read A Man Called Ove and really enjoyed it. I’ve got Fredrik Bachman stuff queued up to listen to with my wife on future …
The title is pretty much self-explanatory. It could be on pretty much any subject but I’d prefer philosophy, methodology, psychology and programing themed books. However if you think there is a book that has another theme but is really worth it feel free to suggest it.
Edit: Thanks guys I really appreciate all the interactions and suggestions I didn’t expect so many comments.
I’ve struggled to find any good comedy novels; they either fall flat, or don’t have many jokes in at all.
I like Discworld, Hitchhiker’s Guide etc., but I want to find something new. Comical situations or some kind of clever gag in the description are what I’m thinking of.
Any genre of comedy except politics and satire preferably.

Edit: Jeez, there’s a lot more than I was expecting. Thanks everyone.
I’m looking for a detective book series where he/she/they solve a new mystery each book.
It should be consistent, and genuinely gripping and suspenseful
EDIT: Please don’t read too much into the “he” thing.
Whenever there’s a critique of an open world game made by Ubisoft or not, it’s often mentioned that it’s a Ubisoft style open-world.
In other words a map littered with icons as a scattered ‘to-do’ list. Or a constant clear this camp and then clear that camp and then that camp etc.
The repetitive nature of these camp clearing open worlds does get tiresome. Along with the overly “helpful” location tags and icons telling you to go to X and you will find Y. Instead of a situation where one might say, I might go look over that mountain and maybe I’ll find something!
So what open-worlds do not do this?
RDR2?
What else?
TL:DR - What open-world games are not considered to be the much maligned Ubisoft bullshit.
In most rpg games, evil options mostly consist of being an asshole to random people, price gouging villagers etc. Any games where you can be an “okay” person while plotting the downfall of this cruel world? A game where you can truly serve evil without acting like a middle school bully?
By short I mean 10 hours or less. Just played What remains of Edith Finch and had a pretty good time with it.
Edit: I was going to reply to everyone, but this blew up more than I thought it would. Thank you all for your suggestions!
I’m asking for MMOs without a global marketplace, where prices fluctuate between regions, so buying low and selling high is a viable option. I already know EVE, which scares me, and Albion, which is pay to win
I’m looking for a game I can really escape into. I like the idea of playing as a race very different from humans, preferably one where it actually makes a difference too, not like Destiny where the only hint you aren’t human is in an inventory screen.
MMOs like WoW and Guild Wars 2 let you play as lots of different races, but I find their gameplay to be so dull. I would highly prefer a single-player experience. Platforms I own are PC, PS3, PS4, and Switch.
Thanks for any suggestions!
Like the title says, I’m looking for a game where the morality is not completely black or white. I remember enjoying Outer Worlds because you can be a good guy, but still kind of be an asshole to people. Thanks!
