For me, it would have to be Necronomipod. It’s funny and I have no issues with the guys. But after awhile? It became annoying and boring.
I can barely stomach the podcast anymore without getting tired of it.
The next one I outgrew would be Cult Liter. Spencer on there is amazing and again, it’s nothing personal. But I guess I just stopped caring.
So again, tell me what podcast you outgrew and why. 😊
Hello, as the title says, I am looking for a true crime podcast that tells one story that is solved. Examples of these are your own backyard, why can’t we talk about Amanda‘s mom? Thanks in advance.
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE SUGGESTIONS. THIS IS GREAT!
I’m looking for recommendations on podcasts that you find generally lift your mood or make you feel better after listening to an episode.
My go to is True Crime, but I find that hard to listen to some days. I’m trying to stay away from self-improvement type podcasts because those sometimes have an adverse affect if I’m not in the right headspace.
I hope this helps explain what I mean and I appreciate any recommendations you have to offer!
Here’s a little back story: My wife and I are in our late 30s. We’re text book leftists from Denver, CO, we drink, smoke weed, cuss like sailors, and have decided not to have kids. My wife’s parents are right wing republicans and life long Evangelical Christians in their 60s/70s. Her dad is a pastor and her mom works for the Seventh Day Adventist conference. Her mom LITERALLY has never had a single sip of alcohol in her entire life.
In June, the 4 of us are driving 12 hours from Denver to Iowa for my wife’s family reunion. What podcasts, audiobooks, music, etc. can we listen to on the drive that will accommodate all of us? We’re stumped! Please help!
Before anyone starts talking trash, please know that the 4 of us love each other very much despite our differences. Thanks in advance!
I’m not even done, I’m in chapter 10 and have been stopped in my tracks with a potato in my throat twice.
When his father sang and then knowing the mother died, so, so unfair.
Fuck Dough Evans.
I’m looking for help finding a new podcast. I’m having trouble articulating what I want, but I can tell you what I don’t want:
So I guess I’m just looking for a “best friends having a chat” podcast? (I feel like that should be a category but it’s not something I can google). If they have a pop culture / movies / video games theme that would be great, but it’s important they still mostly share personal stories etc (would be great if they are in their 30s navigating a new family)
As an example: years ago I listened to the rooster teeth podcast (back when it was called the drunk tank podcast) until most of the original cast left.
Thanks for your help
This might make me sound incredibly dumb so bare with me. I’m 24 and I’ve never read a proper book.
For various reasons I didn’t go to school when I was younger and I wasn’t homeschooled so I never learned how to read. When I was 19 some friends realized this and started teaching me. I took some classes and I spent a long time learning and I’m pretty much at an manageable level.
But it still takes me a very long time to read. I have to read every word and I forget stuff by the time I reach the end of the sentence and have to go back. So I’ve never actually finished a book. It just takes too long.
But I’ve decided that I want to read a book, just so I can know that I have.
I am embarrassed to ask people irl, so if anyone can recommend books that’d be good for a 24 year old guy I’d appreciate it.
I like horror movies and comedy movies and action/adventure movies if that helps
UPDATE: Thank you everyone for your suggestions and …
First person only. Books that feel personal. The narrator holds nothing back.

EDIT: This is a lot to go through, but I’ll reply back to you if I read your suggestion. I wish I had mentioned to leave a description, or a reason why you feel the book is a 10⁄10 because a lot of these are just titles that don’t stand out by themselves. I am trying to look up descriptions as I skim through though.
Nothing for children but something with a philosophical touch that comes from looking at others experience life.
Edit: The comments are everything I could ask for. I think I am covered for a lifetime of travels. I thank all the people who left such amazing suggestions. My best wishes to you all.
Edit 2: Based on many recommendations, I started with Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance. A few pages in and I am already regretting choosing to take a cab instead of my bike on this road trip. My expectations with the book are set. Thank you to everyone who suggested this one. There are many interesting ones lined up in the comment section that I am going to explore after this. Bless you.
Thanks in advance!
He’s read both of her books and I would love to find his next obsession.
Literally anything you guys suggest I will look into, just want a narrator I can’t trust haha
Hi! I’m looking for a game that makes me think or gives me some kind of “life-lesson”. I want it to have a big impact on me, I know this is something REALLY subjective, but maybe you can provide me some good recommendations (:
A videogame like this may be Nier;Automata or Portal, I’d say those are my best examples. I’d like it not to have a gameplay where you are fighting all the time, I prefer more “story-focused” games, if that makes any sense.
I’ve played Detroid Become Human, Bioshock, Omori, Outer Wilds, To The Moon and its sequels,… And I could keep saying but it’s a long list, I just mention those so you don’t comment them.
If you can, try to explain a bit the reason of you recommendation, please (:
Thanks in advance!
Platforms: PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo DS and 3DS.
even not being a fan of star wars
edit: thanks yall, ill give it a try
Would love to find some more RPGs where combat isn’t the main focus. Some that I’ve played and loved so far are:
Thanks!
I am looking for mmorpg that officially closed, but it has live fan’s private servers (like Star Wars Galaxies and SWGEmu, Tera and Menma’s Tera, Minions of Mirth and MoM Reborn).
Edit: thank you very much. I didn’t know that there are so many interesting MMORPG I hadn’t played.
literally what the title says, I wanna play a game so ridiculously bad it becomes good (specially ones that are fun to play with a friend on my side)
Hello, I am looking for a game with the option of living peacefully in harmony with one’s environment, either as an individual character or as a community (preferably a natural environment and not an urban one, but does not have to be Earth-based). The presence of danger is okay, but combat should not be a fundamental aspect of the gameplay.
Games I have tried and liked:
