I can’t even drag new lines of code without it glitching and freezing and auto dropping the code in the wrong spot. Anyone else? Using a 14 Pro Max.

After a great amount of requests, the Expenses Tracker Shortcut is updated with additional features:
^1 Just assign the Expenses Tracker Shortcut to a ”When I tap any Wallet passes/Credit cards” automation trigger. If so, when such a transaction is taking place, a prompt for an amount & Category will be instantly presented to the user. The rest will be automatically saved to database including transaction details. Credit card transactions are marked …
My version of the Ultra Action Button (my first shortcut ever, by the way). I adjusted the functions according to the device’s orientation in a way that made more sense to me.
•Added the option to activate/deactivate AoD.
•Added an option for Screenshot.
•Added a vibration when deactivating silent mode and two vibrations when activating it.
Hope you like it.

Edit: I messed up the post formatting :(
Edit 2: thanks to u/Avieshek, without his shortcut I would never be able to do mine lol (his shortcut is the comments)
This was inspired by a routine demonstrated in SnazzyLabs YouTube video where he uses the iPhone 15’s new button plus the volume rocker to change the outcome of the button press. I do not have a 15 Pro but I wanted to find an application for my 14 Pro.
Add this shortcut as an icon to your home screen as a replacement for your camera app.
When the icon is tapped, it will check the current volume. It will then wait 600ms and check again. If the volume is higher, then it will open the portrait mode. If the volume is lower, it will open the selfie mode. If it does not change, it opens the camera normally. Every action will return the volume back to its former state.
What this translates to is, tap the camera icon followed by volume up, it immediately opens portrait. Camera icon followed by volume down will open selfie, and icon with no volume input will open it normally.
This requires very little setup. Only need to add it as an icon to your Home Screen. I found the PNG for the camera …
The podcast hosts are a family of four: two extreme MAGA Trumper parents in Kansas, and their two Democrat adult children, a son in California and a daughter in Texas. It airs weekly and they talk current events and politics.
Chad, the son, started the podcast with his family to try to have weekly political discussions with him and Hailey’s, the daughter’s, parents, ostensibly to try to listen to each other’s side and have thoughtful discussions about current events. I also think he started the pod bc they were so divided during the Trump presidency that they didn’t speak for years, so this is his way of assuring that his family stays connected.
I started listening bc I’m also a Democrat adult child with Republican parents, and I thought the podcast was really interesting. But lately the father, Bob, has gotten so radical and belligerent that I’m curious as to why Chad even continues with the show. For example, Bob is openly racist. Im not talking dog whistle racist, I’m talking like …
I just found the podcast Maintenance Phase and I can’t decide if I like it or not. Do the hosts have any credentials? It kind of seems like they’re just two people doing google searches and then making their opinions on whatever topic they’ve chosen sound like facts. I could be wrong and I want to like the show. Does anyone know what their credentials are, if they have any?
Edit: I’ve only listened to 2 episodes and I thought they were funny but if you’re going to “debunk health myths” you should have some sort of education or training in that field. It just seemed like more of them talking about how they feel about the topic rather than presenting facts.
I’m my mid40s and have been listening to podcasts before they were even called podcasts.
I have found that As time marches on things just aren’t all that exciting anymore. That’s fine. The lows aren’t as low either. I still love lots of things and get plenty of enjoyment from life. I’m content.
I thought the days of getting really into something and truly enjoying every moment of it were in the past. I am happy to report I was wrong.
This week I found myself in view of my neighbors while doing yard work and completely unaware that I look like a crazy person because I am actually laughing out loud at something. And not just a “Hah, that’s funny”. I’m talking full on chuckles so hard so I have rewind to see what I laughed over.
I didn’t know this was possible anymore! It’s truly a gift. And I am so thankful for these 12 episodes.
A message to the hosts: Thanks fellas. Please do this again for another charity. Or just take the money yourselves. You deserve it. Your honestly the best …
Apologies if this is worded badly, but I am looking for a podcast that goes in-depth on the Israel-Palestine conflict and is suitable for a beginner with no knowledge on the subject.
Thank you so much!
Like the ones on car radio stations. I wanna hear people arguing, not a formal debate, just saying crazy shit left and right. Some insults too.
I’ve just seen that heavyweight is back and re-subbed. Is this a trend? Going exclusive to a platform like spotify is only really to get revenue to the creator, it harms the audience in my opinion.
Curious on thoughts?
Picture this: you become so engrossed in the narrative that your bookmark doesn’t even get a chance to smell or know the book. Making you forget about the world outside, as you delve deeper into its, page after page.
PS: i am going to buy all the books recommended here. I will not care about my bank balance for this.

Not “awful” as in a bad book, but “awful” as in their actions, thoughts, decisions, or maybe even all three. An absolute dumpster fire you can’t look away from.
I want a book with a beautiful but tragic story, that takes me on a long journey in the characters life. I really need to forget about my life for a bit so I’d love to be pulled into the books, I want to really be dragged into it. Any genre is fine though I prefer ones with a good supporting cast or one that’s a bit sad haha.
I’d give some suggestions on what type of books I’d like but I haven’t read a book in years so I can’t haha. Thank you for taking the time to recommend one, please also tell me why and what that book meant to you if you’d like. Just out of curiosity and because it can help again thank you
Ive noticed that happy and wholesome books make me cry more than “sad” books
I watched Little Women (2019) and theres this scene where their father came home from the war and spent christmas with them, then everyone was hugging each other, and laughing. That scene made me so happy that i teared up, actually i straight up just cried. And i wanted to feel that again. Soooo im wondering if there are books that are just like that?
Been mostly depressed lately. Im still going about with my frnds so cant break thru to crying and get on with work. Please suggest a book that’ll have me bawling. Recently started taking up reading, breaking my 11 yr hiatus . please suggest something of small volume. Tysm
Suggest me something where the MC is going through it mentally. Think Girl, Interrupted.
EDIT: thank you for everyone commenting. Y’all are understanding the assignment. I have a few of these books at home already too which is awesome.
It’s very confusing when you have no idea what game is being talked about, and not all abbreviations show up when you Google them.
Please think about the fact that other people may never have heard of the game you’re trying to recommend so guessing what it’s short for is sometimes incredibly frustrating.
Edit: To the people who are somehow mad about this post, THIS IS A GAMING SUGGESTION SUBREDDIT. Folks here don’t know the games you recommend, otherwise they wouldn’t need to be recommended. That’s why using abbreviations here is stupid.
I know the obvious answer is Prototype but I didn’t like it very much. Felt like there wasn’t much to do in the map and the protagonist was boring af.
I’m currently really enjoying Saints Row 4, the one where you’re the president of the United States stuck in a simulation ran by an invading alien force. In the simulation you can run so fast cars and structure will bounce off of you and fly away. You can run up buildings, jump really high, punch people into orbit, throw fireballs, use the force to control objects and a ton more that I’m sure I haven’t found yet.
It’s just so cool to travel through the city by jumping from building to building and then landing right in the middle of an alien gathering to start killing them all. Then you have to fight superpowered monsters as strong as you, which comes down to insanely cinematic fights where both are jumping all over the place while shooting each other.
What I find really enjoyable is that the …
Not just becoming “strong” like having big boom spells or being fast, I mean becoming/killing something that breaks rules of worlds. Like the mythic path in pathfinder or the stuff you see in Asuras Wrath or damage numbers of 99999999 like disgaea, boss rush from terraria calamity on infernum mode. Splitting planets, fighting multi dimensional beings, becoming and/or killing gods and deities, anime/fantasy-esque colorful flashy visuals.
Any genre/theme, singleplayer or multiplayer, bonus points for high difficulty and longevity and uniting as many ridiculous over the top power concepts together as possible, like feeling the stuff youre seeing is about to burst through your monitor. Starting out insignificant/weak is fine too as long as it ends up on the other side.
I used to buy every new Call of Duty that came out with my friends up until Black Ops 3. I’ve played Warzone, but it gets old quick for me. Is Call of Duty still popular? or what games should I try?
The most mechanically difficult games I’ve played have been rocket league and smash melee. And the most enjoyable parts of these games to me have been spending upwards of hundreds of hours practicing different mechanics and learning to consistently use them in matches. What are other games with comparable levels of mechanics that can be learned because I’d love to try them out. Also to be clear, by mechanically difficult I mean games with a lot of actions that can only be performed with a lot of practice and mechanical precision.
