A kind Redditor suggested I make this post.
I created shortcuts to remote start my car with various climate control settings, as well as lock and unlock my car, and then created an Action Button Menu with all the shortcuts. The car control shortcuts use the command links that Subaru uses for their website and MySubaru app, and allows you to create inputs for all the climate control settings so you can heat or cool the car.
This was my first time working with such an intricate shortcut, but a lot of fun to play around with and test!
Even if you’re not interested in such a Shortcut, please consider installing it just for navigating through its menu.
Main Features
Hello, I created an iOS shortcut for the iPhone 15 Pro Action Button that supports multiple actions instead of just one. Hope you like it!

Simply add the shortcut and assign it from the Action Button settings.
Just got my 15 Pro late last week, and I built a list to use with my Action Button, and I’m a fan so far, the simple concept of having it is taking some used to, but I just want to know what sort of things y’all are building for your action buttons! I do have a separate list that pops up if I have sleep or do not disturb on.
Created this shortcut for action menu, if anyone is interested, I can share the shortcut.
So I’m trying to create an automation that notifies me if the garage door is open or closed 10 min after it’s opened. It’s supposed to be a reminder so I don’t forget to close it. I’m stuck at this point and can’t figure out how to get the notification. Appreciate the help 🙏
By that I mean podcasts where every episode is independent from the others and you don’t have to listen to them in order and you choose to only listen to the episodes that interest you.
My current faves are This American Life, Endless Thread, The Rest is History and You’re Wrong About.
Edit: Lots of great-sounding suggestions here - I’ll have a grand time checking them all out. Please keep them coming!
She plays a bad therapist and there’s guest comedians every week who come in as couples pretending to have a problem and they improvise the whole episode. It’s pretty funny.
It’s called Say More with Dr? Shelia
Edit to add name
I just started this one and I like it. Thinking of binging. Is it all around a good one, or have I just picked good episodes? The stories are told really well and the sound quality is excellent. From what I’ve heard. Thoughts?
By subscribers or in the amount of revenue they bring in every month
There’s been a lot of great innovation in the audio medium over the years, but I feel like I’ve lost the cutting edge. What shows are putting out innovative/unusual work these days?
Hey everyone,
I spend a lot of time working on tasks that allow me to listen to podcasts at the same time, which is great, but I always struggle with finding new podcasts to listen to.
I’m quite curious and love learning about new things. I’d say my favourite topics when listening to podcasts are true crime, survival stories, mystery. I genuinely love learning about new things, though, so quite open to anything interesting. I’ve listened to quite a lot of Parcast podcasts (I know they’re not the best, but they’re easy to listen to…), and enjoyed their series about serial killers, and urban legends. Another one I’ve recently loved listening to was Children in the Pictures, which I found absolutely fascinating, though hard to listen to because of the difficult topic.
I don’t mind if gore or violence is mentioned, and am fine with most triggering topics, though I really appreciate when there’s a warning before the podcast.
My ideal running time is anything between 45-90 minutes, …
I personally cannot stomach a poorly conceived and/or executed ending. Which great books should I avoid because of their lacklustre endings?
Which should be my first Stephen King novel to read?
I haven’t a lot in the last few years but this last month…wow! It’s good to be back. I read “Lesser known Monsters of the 21st century” and “Fantasticland” in less than 3 days. I was hooked!
I’m looking for similar books or any kind of alternative realty type book. I’m new to this genre so If there are books similar to “Black Mirrors,” would love that too!
Edit: Wow! Thank you all so much for all the suggestions! Still coming in so trying to respond but pumped to start knocking some of these off the list!
As the title says. I love books where the end of it is nothing you would have expected. Any genre works! Here are some samples of books I have already read with shocking endings: The Silent Patient The Collective The Girl On The Train Gone Girl The Obsession
I come here to find recommendations for life changing books. The problem is every book I find here is on hold for 8-10 weeks in Libby. So, suggest me a book that isn’t on hold for 2 months on Libby.
Thanks in advance!!
Inspired by this tweet: enough girlbosses i need girlfailures. just an absolute loser of a female character. more women who suck!!!!!

I’ve played alot of cerebral games in my time. But lately I just wanna turn my brain off and shoot shit. I don’t wanna sit in a car for 10 minutes and listen to people talk. I don’t wanna be swept up in a world or story. I don’t wanna manage my inventory. I just want to pick up a nice gun and shoot some bad people with cathartic feedback.
I’ve played halo, doom, killing floor and all those goodies. I wanna steer away from multiplayer games cause they are just a bad vibe. Whats some simple gems you guys can recommend me?
I’ve been really liking Cyberpunk 2077’s gameplay but Just don’t wanna engage in the rpg timesink right now. I like the weighty guns and the weighty movement but not sluggish. I kinda like it when you can think while you shoot, like a sword of combat puzzle element that you see in doom eternal and such. thanks in advance chooms
I love Disco Elysium and it’s the only example I can think of like this. I want to play as a character with few to no skills or good qualities who is pathetic in almost every way. I want the MC’s life to be in utter shambles. Thank you all for your time and recommendations!
Not counting the beginning of the game, of course.
In all games I played, money became a non-issue somewhere in the mid-game. This happened due to various reasons. For example:
Are there any games with a well functioning economy that presents a challenge throughout the whole game and not just in the beginning?
Basiclly games like skull and titenfall that makes you master them bit by bit and learn their mechanics, but by the time you master them they offer huge power trip or fun mobilty.
