I found this great shortcut to help automate sending birthday messages, but the only problem is if multiple people have a birthday on the same day and I select multiple people, it sends the happy birthday message in a group text to everyone who’s birthday it is, rather than sending an individual text to each person. Can anybody help me fix this?

As always, the shortcut and instructions can be found on RoutineHub https://routinehub.co/shortcut/5195/
Howdy!
I put together this shortcut recently as I get a lot of my work appointments over email in a myriad of different formats and it’s incredibly annoying to try to format it all correctly each time I want to put it into my calendar.
Since I discovered the integration of the ChatGPT app in Shortcuts I decided to do something about it.
It operates from the share sheet and either reads text from a screenshot or you can copy text and hit share, and it will spit out a calendar sheet with the relevant information filled.
It does require the official GPT app to run, which can be found here:

So download this first and then you can add the following shortcut!

If you only use iPhone then this is your best and easiest to set up option.

“But SparkenSirius”, I hear you cry, “I do all my emails and calendars from my work computer, and Mac doesn’t have …
I am a pilot so I am having to constantly turn my phone on airplane mode to save battery. I created this short cut to do everything and send a last text to the wife.
My question is why does it not turn my ultra 2 to airplane mode as well. I have the setting turned on to mirror airplane mode.
The mirroring works when I don’t use the short cut and turn on airplane mode manually.
Any advice helps!
Do you love them, or hate them? Or don’t care.
It’s becoming more and more common for podcasts to have live audience episodes now. As for me, I don’t like them. I hate hearing the audience in the background and the cheering that comes with it. Also, the podcast is usually a bit longer than I like when they’re live. (I don’t like listening to podcasts over an hour long.) Also, the hosts usually have to talk over the crowd, which is annoying. I think it would be fun to attend a live podcast in person, but as a listener, I dislike them and usually skip those episodes.
But, I’d like to hear your opinion on live shows. Let me hear what everyone else thinks!
But in all seriousness, help me find another great podcast that is as deep, long and entertaining. I won’t mind going beyond history, maybe is actually the best option for now.
It’s about a double life con man - no spoilers it’s in the beginning - and the episodes are like 10-15 minutes each. Not bloated or repetitive like a lot of these can get (looking at you Scamanda). I inhaled it.
I’m trying to break away from the doom and gloom of the news. As much as I know it’s important to stay informed on important world events I’m currently in a battle out of a depressive episode and need something to remind me that humanity has a good side too.
It can be little slice of life stories, I really like hearing about animal rescues for example. Hopeful stuff you know - just as long as it’s true. I’m just not sure where to look.
Saw a post the other day to recommend shows that are controversial and therefore don’t get posted on here very often. I’m going to suggest a slightly different take on that and ask for shows that you listen to, but have never once seen it recommended in this sub. It could be that the show is controversial, or so niche that they don’t apply to most posts, or the show has an audience waiting to grow and needs a shout out, or a podcast in its infancy. Whatever the reason, let’s hear the shows none of us have ever heard of!
I’ll start:
I chews you - a podcast about cooking Pokémon. Just listened to farfetched and they made a recipe for farfetched chicken fingers. Each host brings a recipe and only one can win each episode, entertainment value is high!
(In giant head voice from Rick and Morty) Show me what you’ve got!
Something like stories of Florida Man, dumb business ideas, etc. It should be common. Would like hosts who embellish the stories to make them sound wilder.
TIA!
Basically the title, Whats 1 book you will never stop recommending?
The title, basically. What’s book you could just not put down?
For Christmas my sister and I are going to get each other the most cringy book possible, think more twilight than de sade.
I need the absolute worst of the worst here, pull no punches.
Ideally well-written and gripping but mostly just that the subject matter is so out there that you think it must be fiction. Except it’s not.
Pretty soon I’ll be taking a solo cruise and I want to download a couple of books before I go.
Please suggest me a book I won’t be able to put down.
My preferred genres are thriller, mystery and horror. Favorite authors are Stephen King, Gillian Flynn and Jodi Piccoult and I’ve read most of their books
ETA: wow! You all have some great suggestions. I can’t reply to every comment but I am reading them, googling the titles I don’t recognize and adding a ton of books to my “want to read” list. Thank you!
I’m not looking for anything other then a well made game where you can be a rat. If it’s a good game then a mouse is fine too. It doesn’t matter if it’s humanoid or a regular rat. PC, Playstation, or switch games.
Looking for games that have something similar to the renegade system in Mass Effect effect. I’m looking for games that allow you to just be an asshole to every NPC you meet
As my title says I’ve decided to not buy MW3. To have a little fun I wanted to ask you guys to list me games to fill that 149 GB void. The only rule that I have is that your list not exceed 149 GB. Also I didn’t grow up playing video games as I had strict parents so recommending older games is fine.
Edit: Thank you for all of the recommendations, I now have 110 games to add to my library lol.
my parents are very beginner level with pc gaming. i think they would struggle to use the WASD keys and move their mouse in a first person POV kind of game. i was thinking stardew valley but even that may be too challenging. ideally id like to find something that is still engaging / interesting but easy to pick up.
Even better would be some obscure hidden gems that not many ppl know of. I’m aware of alot of AAA games out there, but am also kinda broke to spend 60 bucks on a game, so I’m mostly looking at indie games(thats also where I feel the most passion being put into a game by devs)
Games that I have played for at least 150 to hundreds of hours are:
Kenshi Skyrim Borderlands 3 Risk of Rain 2 Terraria Cities Skylines Warframe
Next part is just a metric ton of information dump, so u absolutely do not have to read it. Just put it out there, in case some people want to furthur know what kind of game im looking for: - I like games where you have a sense of progression. - I’m really into customizations, not character customization but things like builds(like in warframe or other mmorpgs/rpgs). - I really love the idea of classes in games like rpg classes or roles. - Not much into MOBA games like League of legends or Dota. I did play Paladins for a bit some time ago and really …
Just finished replaying Firewatch after a couple years. Aside from the story and characters, my favourite part was the navigation. Pulling out a physical map and compass, using landmarks as reference points, slowing learning your way around… there’s nothing more engaging to me.
Sea of Thieves comes close, with “X marks the spot” treasure maps and solving quests with riddles, stuff like that.
Anyone know good games like this? I’ve heard good things about Sailwind, but considering the navigation is the entire game I don’t think its worth buying
also dont reccomend FromSoftware games because 1) I’ve played most of them 2) While yeah they meet the requirements the navigation isnt really too big of a focus or have any mechanics tied into it
