People said they wanted to be able to get the Spotify/Apple Music link for the song when you press on the songs. So on top of doing that (thanks to help from reddit user smith_sc), I also decided to refine the shortcut a bit! You can now choose between Billboard HOT 100 (Songs) and Billboard 200 (Albums). It also now includes album art and displays the song/album and artist!

I’m trying to create a shortcut where it finds the mobile data whether in 5G then it changes to LTE mode. If the mobile data is in LTE mode, it changes back to 5G. It only works from 5G to LTE but only from LTE to 5G.
I have made this shortcut which allows you to copy multiple actions from one shortcut to another at once. This is instead of having to copy each action one at a time.
Thanks to all the folks in this community whose contributions helped with this shortcut.
What does everyone think of this shortcut?
Hello everyone. I wanted to create an automation which triggers the alarm two hours before the sunrise. The problem is the sunrise time changes every day and I cannot set the alarm every day manually so I want shortcut app to check the sunrise time and adjust it automatically every day and wakes me up two hours before the sunrise every day automatically. Is this possible? Any help in this regard would highly appreciated!
I wanted to post this again, as some recent bugs that Apple introduced to Shortcuts made the old instructions unusable. This post includes updated, working instructions.
I’m from the US but live in Chile. My Apple Pay transactions all happen in Chilean Pesos, which tend to fluctuate quite a bit compared to the US Dollar. I set up a personal automation that automatically converts my Apple Pay transactions into my preferred currency using the new Transaction Automation in Shortcuts. Thought it would be useful to share for those who live in another country or just want to set this up before an international trip.
Getting this configured takes a few steps, but isn’t too hard. I’m sharing the base shortcut here, which makes it easier to get started.
First install Morpho Converter to do the currency conversion (full disclosure: I am a developer on …
I’ve heard recs for LPOTL but honestly I can’t get into it. Maybe I’ve just had bad luck with episodes so far, but the ratio of actual story telling to listening to them laugh at their own not very funny jokes is too much. I feel like a designated driver listening to everyone in my car trying to tell a story but not really getting to the point.
I don’t mind some humor but I don’t even find this that funny.
I’m waiting on the 30sec fwd button.
I don’t even hear the ads consciously when I’m too busy to skip right away
So many ads but they’re all getting skipped.
For me, it would be the podcast ‘Swindled.’ The host has a very off-putting, monotone voice that’s similar to Bill stein, but worse. My second non-pleasant listening experience would be anytime I hear a Crime Junkie episode and the hosts says “Full Body Chills”
I have been a fan of If Books Could Kill since a couple episodes in, and for some reason never checked out MP. I also love You’re Wrong About. But I’m loving MP. Love Michael and can’t believe I didn’t know this was out there. It’s even better than IBCK. They’re just so damn funny. Listening to the Jordan Peterson episode now and I’m laughing my ass off.
Hey so I am looking for some recommendations for some podcasts and/or episodes to listen to while I am driving by myself for a long time (36 hours in total).
Thinking about maybe interview style that’s interesting, but also educational in some ways. Like you can learn something from others’ experiences and stuff.
What would you suggest?
I just want to laugh my ass off. Any suggestions?
I am looking for recommendations even though I have like 30+ books on my TBR 😅
I want to pick something to read that I wouldn’t have seen if I’d asked for something more specific, also just curious about people’s favourites. Thanks
I’m in the mood to re-read one of the “classics” I would have had to read in high school - which sadly is when i never actually read books and relied heavily on Spark Notes 😅 what are some of your favorites?
Not sure if these books are popularly read in all schools in the U.S. but I’m thinking like Of Mice and Men, In Cold Blood, The Great Gatsby, 1984, Poisonwood Bible, The Color Purple, Crime and Punishment, etc - those are ones that immediately come to mind
Looking for books that people cherish; something that sticks with you. Could be any genre.
I was one of the cliche teens obsessed with Hunger Games and I vividly remember rereading the last 5 pages over and over so it wouldn’t end. I love the dystopian themes but I’m also a sucker for a good romance. Are there any books that are similar in themes?? I’ve never read any other dystopian books, in fear I’ll be disappointed, but I could be convinced.
Edit: THANK YOU everyone recommending books!!! I’m so excited to expand my tbr. I now have hope I can replicate the same feeling lol
I see so many coming of age books, and I love the feel of a lot of them. Is there anything youd recommended for going into your 30s? Not like a self help book, just something relatable for my age group.
I think I like the coming of age books because I was a depressed teen and everyone told me “you’ll grow out of it” I’m turning 29 and I still haven’t grown out of it lol. So I guess Ive always been waiting to “grow out of it” and it’s kinda made me feel like it’s not something adults are supposed to struggle with? So I relate to these depressed teen books.
I need a game I can no life. Something that has a massive loot/prestige item grind. Talking something like Vanilla WoW back in the day, Warframe, etc.
But I want something to start fresh on. Something that has barely just released or hasn’t released yet.
Hit me with some suggestions lads.
Looking for games that give off this vibe. Preferably not just a one-off event, but the vibe throughout the whole game. These might be games that do not teach you the rules, but you learn everything as you play.
Examples: The Witness, Toki Tori, Outer Wilds.
Mark spoilers pls :)
EDIT: People, I already mentioned Outer Wilds as an example stop recommending it
I have noticed a few games where the dev clearly made it so the game would exist, probably because they want to play it themselves, and those games tend to rock.
For instance - Starsector. Or like half the rogue like games ever made..
My friend can only play one weekends now and I need a new main game to play I mostly like story games but I like any genre of games just something long preferably a really good story but again am very open. I have a ps5 and a high end gaming pc so any games that can work on those aby suggestion is appreciated thank you !
Quick explanation. I’ve tried some porn games before, never liked them. But I do still enjoy the sexyness. Therefore, I came (there’s a joke in here somewhere) to the conclusion that I enjoy the nudity and the teasing, but would not spend hours playing a game that’s only about that.
I really enjoyed Baldur’s Gate 3. The option to make everyone naked and the sex scenes that don’t mean much to the story itself and are completely optional, that’s the pinnacle of what I’m looking for. A game with sexual elements that are optional. I wish I had more time to play BG3, but it’s hard with my current free time, so I struggle to make any type of progress.
I also enjoyed my time at modded Skyrim. Tried a couple times a full NSFW campaign, but never could play more than a couple hours, because it felt boring. But I still, whenever I play it, like to have some nudity mods on, for arousal sake’s. Love Skyrim, my most played game of all time, …
Im in a dwarf phase again. Any fun games where you can play as a dwarf? Im already gonna play deep rock galactic and i knoe about dwarf fortress
