I commented on a post and received several replies with cool and useful shortcuts and noticed some iPhone users, myself included; that have no idea how to maximize the utilization of this cool feature.
I noticed that the list of actions for notes on the iPad is limited to a single one while there is a lot more on the iPhone.. bug or error that is likely to be corrected in a next update but I have to say I got scared when I looked at my iPad first and saw that !!
What is one podcast episode or show that has helped your life in any sort of way? Financially, spiritually, physically, mentally.
If I get one more ad for Better Help or Quince I’m going to scream. Both of them are green washing, non-transparent and predatory. Not only that, but it seems like every single podcast these days is sponsored by them! How is it that podcasts can only be sponsored by a handful of companies?
Watched JRE from 2016 until today.
I’m a physician so obv I have my issues with Joe’s stupid theories but I just powered through hoping once Covid was over this maniac would go back to interviewing NDT or interesting figures like Bernie Sanders but it’s 2024 and this guy is still crying about Covid being a hoax…
Anyways I decided i finally give up and want a new podcast. Any recs for something similar to the old Rogan?
Wide variety, conversations with interesting and (ideally well known) guests.
Thinking the old JRE was a unicorn and that’s why it took me so long to let go.
Does anyone else just get bored with all of your podcasts at once and need to do a big shake up? I tend to have podcasts I listen to every week, some I listen to sporadically, and then there are times nothing is grabbing my attention. Any suggestions?
I would really like to find a healthy community to be a part of. I don’t want any red pill, far right, or anything like that. I love cooking and baking, gardening, and fitness. If anyone has suggestions please let me know. Thanks in Advance!
I don’t have the energy for crying and it’s hard to pay attention to much right now. It can be any genre or about anything, just whatever you’d recommend to a friend saying this to you
Thanks very much
I want to hear responses of all kinds and why? Was the book captivating, exhilarating ting, a must read, scary, surprising ending…..etc
I’ve been in a reading slump lately. I think it’s because I don’t really know what to read. I am 22 and I need some good book recommendations (English, French, Arabic)
What was a book that taught you a lesson you needed, allowed you to feel emotions that you needed to feel in that moment, or just reached you at the perfect moment in your life for any other reason (and why if you’re comfortable sharing)?
Howdy Folks,
I am an author, and lifelong reader. In my writing circles, the advice, “read bad books,” gets thrown around quite a bit. Reasoning being, seeing what other people do wrong helps you avoid it.
I read and critique other writers, but I haven’t read much bad writing that made it through the publishing process and was having a tough time finding recommendations on the internet.
That’s why I am here. Give me your worst books. Drown me in mediocrity. Kill me with plot holes. I don’t care about genre as long as it’s fiction.
Thanks!
Edit: This really blew up. Thank you all for your terrible suggestions.
Any genre or time. Just a book that made you impressed by the cleverness of the author.
Looking for a book where someone is totally alone in the world. Maybe reflective and slow paced. Maybe kind of “survival” twist and it’s fast paced. Or a Truman Show esque twist. Sad not preferred. But the main character either is actually the only person in the world, or 100% believes it to be true.
I’m looking for games but the new games won’t run well on my computer. I know some stuff about video games but not a huge amount. What are some old games you still play? They don’t have to be super popular.
Thanks!
need a game for the summer
i have played osrs and wow, for example, but im bored of those and need a new ““challenge”“,
idc if they are competitive games (but dont say LoL please.)
Title says it all. I’m all out of games and am looking for something to play, something you enjoyed.
I never played any single player game so I’m looking to play a game that can hook me
I’m new to gaming and want to explore what this medium has to offer. What are some must-play games that I should experience at least once in my life?
JUST ONE. Describe why, if you wish.
