I am trying to use this shortcut to track my Apple Pay spending in a spreadsheet(eventually I want to go to a specific Excel spreadsheet), but it is just giving me gibberish, any suggestions?
Some of you may remember this shortcut I posted a few months ago. I’ve made some updates since then but more importantly am now hosting it on routinehub to make downloads accessible and easy to upgrade to the latest version!
Description:
No subscription? No problem.
Remove Paywall is a shortcut that makes it quick and easy to access the information you’re seeking in two simple taps! Simply select it from the share menu either directly from a webpage or as highlighted text then choose which service you’d prefer. In addition to taking you to the archived article, it will automatically copy the archived link to the clipboard so that you can quickly share it with others.
Hi everyone!
I’ve made an important update to the Remove Paywall shortcut. This version adds the ability to check for new versions and update directly from the shortcut via the RoutinePub API.
Features: - Checks for new updates - Option to install now or remind for later - Show release notes - Show version history - Mandatory updates for releases that resolve critical bugs
Additional minor updates: - Fixes shortcut icon - Disables running from locked screen
Additional notes:
I previously received feedback asking to include 12ft.io as an option. I intentionally omitted this service as accessing the archive via direct link requires disabling ad blockers, and I don’t want to encourage compromising security for convenience. If you’d like, I can add an option to automatically copy the article url and open 12ft.io in the browser for you to manually paste; if so, please let me know and I will update accordingly.
Thank you and, as always, feedback is highly welcome!
I digged trough the IPSW to find all x-apple-health deep link.
Thanks to u/freaktheclown his findings such as MedicationsHealthAppPlugin.healthplugin and HKQuantityTypeIdentifierTimeInDaylight, and thank you for motivating me to search more deeply.

TLDR: Instantly refresh your iPhone’s look. Switch custom Lock and Home wallpapers easily & quickly.
Please read the Quick Setup Steps below. This shortcut needs an album called “Wallpaper Collection”.

FULL POST
This shortcut is designed to quickly set wallpapers for the Lock Screen and/or Home Screen of a specific wallpaper slot, or to swiftly switch between different preset wallpaper slots. The wallpapers are sourced from a dedicated album named “Wallpaper Collection”, which contains only images suitable for wallpapers. This approach helps users easily select and set wallpapers, and quickly switch between multiple wallpapers in the album whenever desired.
The beta currently implements 25+ actions to control and manage Spotify, let me know what you think.

Every time I do a google search for podcasts, it’s just a list of things I’ve already listened to. What are some really good ones that have not made it to the S-Town, Serial, In Your Own Backyard level of recommendation?
Edit: I am going to listen to each and every one of these recommendations. I love to listen while walking and my goal is to walk a lot in the second half of 2024.
I’ve almost watched all the episodes of my favorite podcast, need new recommendations :D
Whether they hit a little too close to home, or the way it was told. It doesn’t have to be a horror podcast or scary in the creepy sense.
For me the Andes plane crash episode of You’re Wrong About has stayed with me. Just so visceral and desperate at times
My mom has had a rough couple months and is now laid up with a broken leg still mourning the fresh loss of her husband of 60 years. I’m looking for something to boost her spirits, something “feel good” and relatively family-friendly without being overly sappy. Nothing religious or political.
She likes to read memoirs and history, but nothing too dense/scholarly.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Thanks for all the thoughtful suggestions and (generally) kind words.
I listen to probably 95% podcast and 5% music. I’m able to listen during most of my workday and it makes the day go by so much faster. I also do a lot of endurance activities, so I don’t need to be hyped up. Really the only time I listen to music is driving with friends and going heavy at the gym.
So like the title say, I want something really scary. I don’t care if it’s fictional. An added bonus if it’s the full experience with SFX and a rainy background, but the important part is the horror. 🥰
Less paranormal stuff though, unless it’s like myths and legends
Feeling pretty bummed out by real life lately, and I want to immerse myself completely in a book world. Any suggestions for books that will help me take a vacation from reality? Doesn’t have to be fantasy or sci-fi (tho I love those genres), just has to be absorbing! Thank you!!
Edit: These are such amazing suggestions!! So many books I’m excited to read. Thank you ❤️
Let’s mix it up. Tell me a book you wouldn’t recommend to anyone and why.
Less gore/horror, more maddening, spiraling, dark, psychologically fucks with you type of books.
I want to be questioning my own sanity by the end of the book.
Hi, I’m asking so I’ve to add to my recommendation list. Thanks!
Curious what titles force your ears to perk up and listen to someone’s further recs, and vice versa.
Name a popular book you believe is overrated and suggest a better alternative book that is underrated
I am tired of being the one who’s bad at every game. I picked up gaming to get more friends. All the guys around my age used to play some type of mobile game so I did too. I was horrible to say the least. I didn’t get any friends through that. Usually got kicked out for being bad at those shooting games. Years later now I finally got a pc and all my current friends only talk about games, skins, game pass etc. to know more I tried it again and I could not be more lost about something. For context, I started with valorant and fortnite but as always quit due to being bad at shooting games, then tried some rpg and story games like genshin impact and rn trying ghost of tsushima. I’ve also tried games like Minecraft and stardew valley. But I just suck at all of them. My friends were so frustrated with my skills cause apparently no one is supposed to suck at Minecraft. Being a complete baby at gaming keeps me away from most of the guys my age. Getting yelled at and being …
Looking for games that set you free with little to no hand holding. You are set free in a new world to explore, and the game isn’t going to tell you what to do or where to go. Bonus points if there is a big game world to explore.
Please exclude Minecraft.
Edit: wow! This blew up. Thanks everyone for all the great suggetions!
Looking for the best suggestions, I wanted to start a new game, and I mostly enjoy action-based gameplay. Any suggestions?
I have a problem with anxiety. But I’m not looking for the “relaxing” things like stardew or animal crossing or whatever. I want a game that will grab me in and grip me so hard that I just sort of stop thinking about whatever is worrying me. Things like civ and factorio hit me great for this. Any genre is acceptable.
I play a lot of games, but I don’t necessarily spend a lot of time playing them. Almost every time I sit down to play I end up rotating through a large list of mostly sandbox/strategy/competitive games which I am endlessly restarting or have no actual end. Project Zomboid, Kerbal Space Program, Stellaris, Manor Lords, Mars Logistics, iRacing, Rocket League, etc.
I miss finishing games. I miss the contained, complete experience. Like a good book or movie. I miss renting Xbox games from the video store and playing hard for a few days before I had to return them. Those stories stick with me.
I’ve ended up home sick for the next 4 days and would really love some recommendations for a contained, rewarding, immersive game that can be completed in 8-10 (okay, 12 if it’s really worth it) hours. I’m open to basically any genre, and game on PC. Thank you!
I know it’s probably depression but I just can’t seem to find any games that interest me rn
my favorite games of all time are:
Fallout New Vegas Dark Souls Risk of Rain 2 Stardew Valley Borderlands 2 BTD6 Diablo 3 Overwatch Smite
anything vaguely similar to these I would be more likely to like even tho I’ve played most of the popular games in each genre
Edit: Didn’t expect so much feedback, thanks to everyone who put me on to some really cool indie games, but for those wondering; I loaded up Diablo 4 for the first time since [its mid ass] launch and the changes they’ve made have gotten me hooked, I’m on the season 4 grind, but now I have a backlog of great games to chant out thank to everyone here!
