I saw all the news articles about how folks should make a copy of their COVID vaccine card to carry with them for events or businesses that offer free merchandise/food for showing your card. I thought that was a bit old-school, and there is no universal solution around for a digital COVID passport in the US (yet). I looked, but I couldn’t figure out how to easily add my covid card to Apple Wallet. So, I created a simple shortcut / accessibility hack to quickly easily show my COVID card at the tap of my finger.
After discovering one or two good podcasts I found myself getting into really cool show concepts, mostly informational, but all across the board too. My problem, is the ones I started with have all gotten somewhat stale or annoying, solely because I become so familiar with their structure, mannerisms, and presentation. Its like they gain a sense of predictability.
I started branching out more to newer casts, but they all seem to go down that route, and im noticing that im getting to that point faster and faster with each new one. Its like they all start to sound the same to me. It can be an inflection that they use, or one word they say too much or pronounce weird, or even just that their subjects are overdone, I cant seem to get around the fact that I get annoyed eventually.
Are podcasts becoming something that isnt for me? Is there a way to stop, or at least slow this progression? I drive a lot for work and I love learning stuff, so I have become kinda dependent upon them to stay …

I’ve been going through a lot of highs and lows recently (getting an exciting new job, my grandmother friend passing away, little time to myself, etc.) and I haven’t been feeling like myself. I was wondering if there are any podcasts out there for people going through a rough time? I don’t want to listen to a person saying stuff like “what you’re feeling is ok” or saying corny/stereotypical stuff you’d expect a therapist to say.
I know that’s asking a lot without being too specific, but if anyone has any suggestions I’d appreciate it, thanks!

I stumbled on this podcast a few months ago, and have been a huge fan since the first listen, when they discussed the Halloween series. Matt Gourley and Paul Rust go through popular horror franchises like Friday and Nightmare and Alien, often diverging from discussing the plot and characters to talk about…whatever.
This is not a horror podcast for those who want a tight one hour recap of a movie. It can often be three hours or so per episode, which flies by because the hosts work so well together and they’re funny and interesting and their anecdotes are often compelling. Rust especially has some great stories about working in Hollywood, like his acting roles in shows like Love.
Bit of a spoiler in and of itself but oh well.
Fiction. Different types of humour are welcome but I would love to have a good loud laugh on every couple pages at least. So perhaps no dark humour suggestions?
Hello! I am trying to find a book that helps dealing with anger. I am a parent and I feel bad about my anger issues. I have a lot of negative thoughts, and when I have something to legitimately be angry about I have trouble letting go and moving on instead of obsessing. I just started seeing a psychiatrist and am starting some Yoga but hope there is a book out there that would help me with this as well

A female protagonist who kind of went from having nothing and only devastation in her life to becoming freakin’ powerful. Like, big character development, good plotline and if it has love interest with good chemistry, it will be a heavenly read for me. Please suggest some books!
