LMAO cropped from a video of me just messing around but I did not expect to land. First time ever landing one.
Here’s my combo I’ve been tweaking and perfecting forever. The black string is kinda hard to see so hopefully you can… I can repost with a neon string when I buy some. Also if anyone wants any kind of tutorial just comment and I’ll make one! I hope you guys enjoy!
Making my yearly appearance here. Not my best flow, but here’s a trick nonetheless. Merry Christmas 🎄
Here’s a tutorial for a double-Branding variation, called Death’s Branding.
If you add extra rotations near the end, you can turn this into a triple Branding, like I did in this video from 2021 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glpi5KCF6dc
I’m a terrible sleeper who needs background noise to fall asleep to. However it needs to be just the right type level of engaging. Too engaging and it will obviously keep me awake. Too boring and it just becomes irritating noise-which is why most sleep apps don’t work for me. Are there any Podcasts that you feel sit somewhere in the middle?
Currently listening to Panic World’s “The worst things on the internet this year” and it’s scratching the Yes Yes No itch in a way that hasn’t been done since RA ended. If you miss RA as much as I do, this one is worth a listen!
That’s all I had, just wanted to share this with a group of people who would understand. RIP Reply All, forever on the hunt for something comparable. If you’re also on that hunt, check out Close All Tabs; it’s not quite the same, but it checks a lot of the boxes and I never see it mentioned on here!
2025 is almost over, I don’t listen to many recently released podcasts, so I’d like to hear your picks!
I’m on the hunt for new true crime podcast series, but lately I’ve been less into straight-up murder/death cases.
Lately I’m obsessed with podcasts focused on scams, deception, fraud, cults, corruption, drugs, or situations that just went so spectacularly wrong that you’re left thinking: HOW TF DID THIS HAPPEN?
A few things I look for in Podcasts: - Serialized stories only (I prefer a season to single episodes). - Deep, thorough reporting. I like investigative journalism. - First-hand accounts: interviews with victims, insiders, or people directly involved. - Not just recap podcasts. I want something immersive that I can binge and get addicted to.
I’ve been having a hard time finding series on the topics I’m into that hit these boxes, but when I do, I’m completely hooked.
Some recent favorites to give you a sense of my taste: - Scamanda - S-Town - Allison After NXIVM - The Chameleon – Wild Boys - Turning River Road – Season 3 - Blink – Season 1 - Gone South – Seasons 1–4 - …
Hunting Warhead had me wanting to know what was gonna happen every second, couldn’t put it down. It’s awful subject matter and I’m not suggesting it to anyone.
But if you have listened to it, anything else presented like it?
It reminds me of how the Reply All episode is done where they track down the Indian telemarketer and that’s one of my all time favorite podcasts.
Looking for a good podcast series to binge over Christmas. Favourite types of podcasts are: 1. Investigative journalism 2. True crime 3. History All recommations appreciated 😊
It’s no secret that our education system is trash. And it’s getting worse. There are so many things that even now, at 28 years old, I’m just now realizing about the world and even our own country, and it’s not only shameful but also genuinely frustrating to me that a lot of things, yes, I wasn’t the best at paying attention in class l, but a lot of other things, we genuinely weren’t taught about in school. We didn‘t go in depth with geography unless it had to do with a country that affected us in a war somehow. I want to learn more. I want to strengthen my mind more. So if ya‘ll have recommendations, that would be great. thanks (please don’t judge, I’m fragile)
I’m looking for any novel that feels like you’re passively learning history. Something that really fills out all the small details, has you looking up words for items that don’t exist anymore, and shows you day to day life as well as the larger picture of living in that time period. Something that almost makes you suspicious about how the author even managed to reach this level of detail without having experienced it all themselves.
I don’t care when or where the book is set. Specific genre doesn’t matter either. I mostly read horror (supernatural elements are welcome) but I’m open to anything.
Looking forward to seeing your suggestions :)
I am looking for a super long novel to sink my teeth into, can be new, or a classic. Something you got into after a while, that turned out to be beautiful and epic.
I would especially love a book where the reason for the decline is grief, guilt, addiction, or some combination of the three. I’m also very interested in well done first person perspective, but this is by no means a requirement. Any genre is great.
I love books that have some magical realism to them like time travel or a person experiencing different realities, but everything else is in the real world and completely normal. Not heavily fantasy or sci fi focused, moreso the main character is the only one experiencing the different realities, and almost everything else is normal.
I have already read:
The Husbands
This Time Tomorrow
In a Holidaze
Landline
Maybe in Another Life
The Midnight Library
Wrong Place Wrong Time
But would love to know if there are more books like this!
Thank you!
If I’m gonna do this, I need three books that are under 200 pages.
What are your favorite titles under 200 pages?
Thanks!!
When you a bunch of “worst video games of all time” lists, they usually list games that are bad due to time constraints or poor management, such as Superman 64, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, ET 2600, etc. When I say I want recommendations for bad games I mean critcally panned games that line up with the dev team’s vision. Games like Hello Neighbor and Paper Mario: Sticker Star. I remember a Dunkey video where he claimed “You must understand the bad so you can understand what is good” and stuff like this comes to mind
Just wondering, is there even a game kind of like Kingdom Come: Deliverance, but set in a modern-day setting? Like a modern day RPG where you have to eat and rest, level up stats, have dialogue options, etc.?
Hi,
Already snagged Disco Elysium for 90% off, so just £3.49, on Steam.
What other superb games have you spotted on a mega sale (I’d class that as 75% off and above).
Cheers!. Paul
I’m looking for games where your character can get hammered, and it’s reflected in the UI or gameplay.
Thinking of:
- Cyberpunk
- Watch Dogs Legion.
Any others are welcome!
my first thought is the early fallout games. I tried to play with very minimal looking at the manual and it was so overwhelming and confusing figuring out what i could and couldnt do by clicking the 500 different buttons
For example I’m looking for any games where when a player dies in the game they just wake up and it is explained (or just understood) that the entire game/session up until waking was just a dream?
As we approach the end of the year, what have been your most used shortcuts? Not your favourite or most complex. Simply the most used.
For me it would be the Action Menu, Morning Routine and Night Routine.
Not sure how I coped before Shortcuts 😂
I just had to share because I’m a little proud of myself and just happy at saving myself some time and pain with a small but mighty shortcut I came up with for a minor problem.
It’s simple, but saves me some time at the gym and also helps me from being distracted. I wasted a lot of time connecting to my gym’s WiFi, then getting Spotify open, then getting my workout app open….all micro moments where I also would get distracted and start scrolling near my gear/cubby.
Also, I have some carpel tunnel and when you connect to my gym’s WiFi it opens a splash page that is super tiny font and input boxes, so you have to zoom in, type a long password, click a tiny radio button, then hit connect. It’s a first world problem, but makes my wrist and fingers hurt more than I would like! Sometimes I would also forget about the WiFi, and end up draining my battery while it worked on one bar of cell data service.
So I just made a simple automation/shortcut that when I enter the gym and it auto …
This shortcut checks for public holidays in your calendar. If there is one tomorrow, your next sleep alarm gets skipped (and you are notified of the skip). Great for sleeping in!

📱 Turn the iPhone Action Button (and Apple Watch) into Focus-Aware Menus
TL;DR
I built a system of Apple Shortcuts that turns the Action Button on iPhone (and Apple Watch) into different menus depending on your current Focus (Home, Work, Car, Sleep, etc).
One button → context-aware actions → no third-party apps required.
Quick note: title should say “Focus-based” (as in Apple Focus modes). Can’t edit titles on Reddit, unfortunately.
🧠 What This Does
Instead of the Action Button doing one thing, it becomes a dynamic menu system:
Car Focus → Open/Close Garage, Find Gas Nearby, Play Music/Podcasts
Home Focus → Lights, Scenes, Music
Work Focus → Work-specific actions
In Bed / Sleep Focus → Wind-down actions, brightness, music
The same button shows a different menu automatically based on the Focus that’s active.
This works on:
iPhone Action Button, Apple Watch Action Button or Complications on your watch face (via Shortcuts) if you don’t have an action button.
Everything is …
Sorry if this topic has been done to death — I know a few people have asked it, but other than confirming it can be done without much of a clue as to what to actually script in the Shortcuts app.
I basically have gotten so used to using the Action Button as a torch, that whenever I try using it for anything else I almost immediately regret changing its use-case in the evening when the torch becomes handy.
Except I don’t need a torch in daytime …so the Action Button is really only used after sunset. I would love to assign it to ChatGPT or Visual Intelligence or something during daylight hours, then as the Torch at night.
Even if it’s scheduled, more simply, between 07:00-19:00 than against the actual IRL sun, that would be brilliant.
Is there an easy method to create this?
I recently started using the shortcuts app, and it has so many features. It would be great if there were some guidance on how to use them effectively.
